safety class

“This, this and this. Keep it all the time with you.” I rolled my eyes as Rashmi seemed to not be stopping in any sooner time. “And, this is a 20k volts one, keep it near your pillow along with this pocket knife, okay?” For what? To tassel myself to death while sleep talking, and moving. Oh Cheeses, what was with those so large darts, don’t she better tell me that they are poisoned for murder purposes. “These, you can dip in rat poison or some acid for immediate results.” I closed my eyes, not knowing what to do of all these. “Are you even listening. Shall I brief again? Maybe I should’ve asked Abhishek to do it.” She went into a slouch thinking serenade making me shout an immediate no. It was better when she was in the phase of not talking to me in the past few days. Can we go back to it already? “I really appreciate your concern about my departure but this is… well, I am not going to command the military. I will be joining a highly civilized area and my safety will be taken care of, if in all incurred any doubts on it.” I calmly explained, which Rashmi probably allowed to pass at all above the semicircle of her burgundy hair. “It doesn’t hurt to be prepared… and these are the bullet proof vests, have them whenever you feel the need, just in case.” She said pointing to the thick black jackets on the larger cardboard box. I tried again, “It is not a war Miss Rashmi Prasanna. A family harmony it is.” Her noise elimination function was probably on a marathon gate crash as she continued opening a bullet box for a small revolver. “This is a .32 revolver. I saw your license record for it so I took that in consideration.” This was turning out to be bitterly sweet of her; when the maturity of the normal level of frequent tendency to accept love from a human being exceeds is called a bitter syndrome. When she opened the other box – which was quite lengthy than broader – I half expected for grenades and missiles to greet me. As if I were a warfare expert and would know how to shoot off buildings and blast cities, for fun. “These are the best boots I could get in this little instant, and keep this rope under your bed for efficient usage of resources.” She said and shoved back the three-liner hook and the rope back into the box. What is she expecting me to do? It’s like she is preparing me for an episode of Man versus Wild without any mentor. “This is the manual I’ve prepared in case you forget a few things. Go through it in emergencies.” I nodded, and realized how much of an overthinker Rashmi has become, or has she always been like this? “Okay, done. I will pack them back and keep it ready for loading. Anything else?” Good. Finally, Finally, she is acknowledging that I exist. “Yes Madam. What is a very meticulous gift someone can give their husband?” I can’t go empty handed into his castle, where I plan to spend a cosy vacation of power, pleasant and relaxation. “An exhausting, good, rough night.” Strike off. That was out of the options. I scrunched my nose, and played with my lips in thinking for a memorable, presentable and a classy gift for a King. “Did you inform your family and friends?” She asked, and I had my answer ready for it. “No. I have a parting letter for them. They will receive it once I depart.” “Sounds like a plan.” Her voice didn’t sound too convincing, “And, you will tell everyone that I am on a private trip to the Bora Bora’s, okay?” I need not to double confirm it from Rashmi, but just in case if she has forgotten it in the process of excessively thinking about a non-existing threat on me in a strange city I have been only once to, that too kidn*pped by. Nainital was far more dangerous for me to live in, as everyone knows who I am here, and it’s easier to kill me here than inside the walls of an unknown palace. "Was it delivered?" I asked, excitement level ceasing my vocals to mars. "What?" "That, that." I repeated again, and after two seconds the imaginary lights on her head blinked and she screeched in disappointment. "Never order me to do those again!" I laughed seeing her distorted face. "Did it go well or not?" "I don't know. But I did deliver your special doll to him but I don't understand why you sent such a weird gift to someone we are suspecting." She wasn't wrong though. "There are somethings in this world which don't make sense to us but it is meaningful to someone else because everyone had a different set of chromosomes." I explained to her, which was totally unnecessary because Rashmi was not a child. "Whatever. But why?" Humans are weird. Didn't she say whatever, just now? "Because he isn't a suspect. He is a probable investment I am bidding for. Plus, he has OCD, so I was just doing a favour for his pleasures. See, I am so thoughtful." It is all about casting the net a bit bigger. "I bet after the opening of the gift he doesn't thinks that about me, or you, like what you are actually aiming for: thoughtful angels!" Rashmi complained, and by now she was done with packaging back those cardboard boxes again. "Whatever." Should I message Kriag, maybe call him? But what if he finds it suffocating and not helpful. Should I give him his space? What if he doesn't want to continue this relationship in the way I want? That is totally up to him, and I can’t force him to conceit into my desires, and admirable wishes. Is it too much of happiness and goodwill I am asking for? Maybe. What if we break up even before being in a proper relationship?
