"Why is she not waking up?" I am awake already, I wanted to reply to the male voice but it still didn't feel the right time to open my eyes and gulp in the sunlight which was already penetrating into my eyelids.
There was some shuffling around, as I enjoyed the softness of the mattress; the softener smelled so delicious: tea root it was.
"Do you think she is the right person we bought?" A female voice, a bit high pitched too, asked to the other voice in the room. Okay! It's time. I will grace them with my activeness, now!
Darn it!
"Yes Martha, she is. His Majesty confirmed before our departure." The other voice, now clearly a male distinct confirmed, explained to the lady's doubts.
Were they talking about me? But, wait!
Where am I?
The last I recalled I was in some alleyway, no the cemetery I think, running away from some bandits or thieves or whoever they were, and trying to save Emmet, for whatever reasons. Probably the familial relationship of Humanity. Like the way Kriag had explained me when we first met.
No. I must’ve got it remembered wrong. I was at the grave yard. I fiddled with my hands to check if I was tied. Negative.
So, who are these both man and woman, and why is there a majesty involved in all this?
"But why does his Majesty want to choose a girl out of the state. He seriously is a mystery to me!" The girl spoke again, not bothering with her voice which was irritating me. The guy shushed her down, a sensible and by the books player I see.
"Simple. He doesn't want a competition and a partner who would know his secrets! I won't say any more than this." He whispered loud enough for the toads to hear out in the lake, if there were any, though. I guess there was no lake around too.
What are they talking about? Am I kidn*pped? Maybe I can offer a full-time actor agent with 10% royalty as ransom or Jules can pay any amount with our family money, after all I am the only sister, he has. Considering my parents were filial to each other, which they were, and there was no other variable.
Did they already call in for ransom? How much do I cost anyway?
"What more is there to tell? And, when will this lady wake up?" The guy quieted her down once again, as if she just committed a sinful crime.
"She is His Majesty's guest. She deserves the best and proper treatment!" He whispered yelled to Martha, the flaring horn in this room. Then in that case, Is this how they treat a VVIP guest?
This is my chance. I shall get up and teach them two or four things of hotel management. I grabbed the velvet blanket to pull it off.
Damnation!
"Then why did he ask us to guard the room, keep an eye on her and not allow her to be seen anywhere around, huh?" Flaring horn had a point. Guests aren't treated like this. So, am I a prisoner?
Why were there so many twists and turns?
"His Majesty needs her to be healthy, fit and in one piece. That's the goal." The guy replied and shut his mouth, both of them!
Why does this supposed Majesty need me in one piece? Wait–
Abhishek once talked about the trafficking racket for organs and body parts he was working a sting operation on; maybe I can c***k it for him, if that's the case.
And, if I am wrong and if, if, that's not the case, then well and good for the society.
It must be a s*x and child trafficking ring. Bloody Awesome!
Now all I need to do is pretend to be asleep and keep an eye on those who are trying to keep an eye on me. Easy!
But I have to urgently pee, and my head was paining too much that I was in immediate need of an Advil, and above all that, the dried blood on my cheek was itching to be scratched. Screw everything.
“Did you see how shameless the cabin people of the prime minister are becoming? Last week they dared to tear down His Majesty’s posters on the name of campaign. That witch has some agenda. I am telling you.” Flaring horn was talking something which wasn’t making sense to me so I started assuming, and rebuilding my story of Trafficking.
So, these types of things also have levels of order, and there existed a prime minister.
The play by the books guy remained silent to her accusations of authority, “Let us wait for Sir Sean to take over here, then we can have our conversation continued outside.”
His job is to keep me safe, so if I attack him, he can only defend, and not answer me the same. Yes, I can’t stay here forever and wait for some majesty to come and talk s**t to me.
I have to get into the #savemyself project!
