Chapter 2: The Blackwood Empire
Ava arrived at Ryder's office, her heart racing with anticipation. She was greeted by a sleek receptionist who led her to a luxurious boardroom. Ryder was already there, his eyes locked on hers as she entered.
"Welcome to the Blackwood Empire," he said, his voice commanding. "I want to show you what we're capable of." Ryder walked to the door and locked it. He moved closer to Ava tingling his way down her breast with his index finger. Ryder's soft but firm hands were irresistible, she felt cold shivers run down her thighs. With his hand clenching her neck, her put his mouth in hers. He made sure she enjoyed every moment. Ava stretched out for his c**k. You can tell that she loves it. She had his c**k in her hands once again, what a wholesome moment! Ryder smiled and let her do her thing. She put it in her mouth and sucked it like it was her last. Ryder couldn't help but moan loudly. "Ahhhh, Lady Moralesssss, you do this perfectly. I don't wish for you to stop!" Ava looked up at him and smiled and she continued digging it deep into her throat. Ava knew he couldn't resist her this time so she decided to make the next move first. She put her left hand on his chest while she gently pushed him back to lean on the boardroom table. Ryder was quiet for a while and then he pushed her back. "Ava! This isn't why I called you out! Let's get to the meeting proper" Ryder's zipper was open and Ava couldn't help but stare. She rushed to him and kissed him passionately. This time she wasn't stopping till she got what she wanted. Ava undressed and gently moved Ryder to the couch. She took off his pants and sat on his c**k! It's safe to say, she took his name from him at this point! Damnnnnn! Ava the Ryder! The room temperature was high and the intensity of the f**k gave it all out. Ava's buttocks jiggled on his balls and she leaned forward to put her hard n*****s in his mouth. Ryder grabbed the soft breast and fed on it. He turned her over! He rode like a ghost rider. This time around he kept his name to himself! Ryder was all soaked in sweat as he thrusted in and out non stop. This is the moment he wished never ends. But, alas! He had is keeds scattered all over Ava's back. Ava gently rubbed her back and took it to her mouth. "Next time you should pour your babies in my mouth" She said and Ryder chuckled.
As Ava took a seat, Ryder began to present a stunning visual display of his company's achievements. She was impressed by the scope of their projects, from real estate to technology. Ryder told her about the company's plan to invest in Bruno Medicals' new drug production. The RH 50. The RH 50 is a new invention of the World famous Bruno Medicals. No legit company will ever want to have anything to do with the hideous Bruno. Ava was beginning to get anxious.
But as the presentation ended, she noticed a peculiar look between Ryder and his team. "Ryder, what's going on?" she asked, her instincts on high alert.
Ryder's smile was smooth, but Ava detected a hint of evasion. "Just business, Ava. Nothing for you to worry about."
Ryder sat down and started reviewing the proposal from Bruno Medicals. Their new drug, RH 50, promised to revolutionize the industry, but Ryder knew the truth. It was a fake drug, designed to reap profits, not cure ailments. He was determined to invest, regardless of the consequences.
Ava looked uneasy. "Ryder, I have to advise against this investment. RH 50 clinical trials are flawed, and the drug's safety is questionable and not everyone knows this".
Ryder's eyes narrowed. "Your concerns are noted, Ava. But I've made up my mind. I want RH 50 to hit the market, no matter what. I will make the investment happen."
"Please, reconsider. This drug could harm innocent people."
Ryder's smile was cold. "That's not my problem. My problem is making money. And this one product is going to make me a lot of it."
But Ava's mind was already racing, she knew she had to do something to stop him and she wasn't comfortable anymore.
Ava's eyes locked on Ryder's, her gaze piercing. "You really need to reconsider this investment, Ryder!" She almost screamed her lungs out.
Ryder's eyes widened, his jaw clenched. "Be careful, Ava! You're playing with fire." Ava felt sick to her stomach. She had been so blind, so caught up in Ryder's charm and charisma. But now she knows the truth, Ryder Blackwood was not the man she thought he was.
As she confronted him, Ryder's mask slipped away, revealing a cold, calculating gaze. "You're just a pawn in my game, Ava," he sneered. "And pawns are always sacrificed." He added as he walked up to her.
Ava's world came crashing down. She realized she was in grave danger and had to escape before it was too late. Her heart raced as she turned to run, but Ryder's grip was too strong. He grabbed her arm, his fingers digging deep into her skin.
"You're not going anywhere," he snarled, his eyes blazing with anger.
But Ava was determined to escape. She used all her strength to wrestle free, her eyes scanning the room for a way out.
That's when she saw it - a small window, slightly ajar. Without hesitation, she made a dash for it, Ryder's curses echoing behind her.
She squeezed through the narrow opening and found herself on a fire escape. Her feet pounded the metal stairs as she descended into the darkness.
Finally, she hit the ground, her breath coming in ragged gasps. She didn't dare look back, fearing what she might see.
Ava ran through the streets, her heart pounding in her chest. She didn't stop until she reached her apartment, she locked the door and collapsed on the floor. She knew Ryder would come for her. She had to get out of there, and fast. Few minutes later, her phone rang, an unknown number. "You're meddling in things you don't understand, Ava. This drug will make me a fortune, and I won't let you or anyone else stand in my way" The voice was deep and threatening.
Ryder's feelings for Ava were genuine, but his business interests came first. He couldn't let her expose the truth about RH 50, not now that he was so deeply invested.
Ava's eyes narrowed. "You're not fooling me, Ryder. I know the truth. And I'm going to expose it, no matter what it takes" she was beginning to get scared and anxious at the same time.
Ava stood her ground, her heart heavy with the knowledge that she was pitted against the man she was getting attached with. But she couldn't back down now. She had to see this through, for the sake of the truth and the people who would be harmed by RH 50.
As the stakes grew higher, Ava and Ryder found themselves on opposite sides of a battle that would only end when the truth was revealed. Little did they know, their personal and professional lives were about to collide in a way that would change everything.
Ryder's team sprang into action, spreading false rumors and fabricated scandals about Ava's past. They hacked into her social media accounts, posting inflammatory statements and controversial opinions that weren't hers. They even went so far as to create fake news stories, discredit her sources, and intimidation tactics to silence her.
Ava's reputation began to unravel, her credibility questioned by her peers and the public. Her editor pulled her off the story, and her investigative team was disbanded. Ryder's plan was working, and Ava was left isolated and desperate. Ava's life was crumbling and not even her coworkers were on her side. She got a yet another anonymous call and this time the caller asked her to come to a corner outside her apartment building.
It was Ryder. Ryder's eyes narrowed, as he began to speak, his voice dripping with malice. "Do you really think you can take on me and my empire? I'll crush you like the insignificant bug you are."
Ava stood tall, her eyes flashing with defiance. "I won't back down, Ryder. I'll expose the truth about RH 50, no matter what you throw at me."
Ryder sneered, his lips curling into a snarl. "You're already finished, Ava. Your reputation is in tatters. And if you continue to meddle, I'll make sure you never work in this town again."
Ava's heart raced, but she refused to back down. "You can't silence me, Ryder. The truth will come out."
Ryder's eyes glinted with a sinister light. "We'll see about that. You're playing with fire, Ava. And you'll get burned."
The air was thick with tension as the two enemies locked horns, each refusing to yield. The fate of RH 50, and Ava's very career, hung precariously in the balance. Ryder got into his car and zoomed off.
Ava was not ready to back down. She was scared but knowing the truth was even more scarier. She refused to give up. She knew the truth, and she was determined to expose Ryder's sinister plot, even if it meant going rogue. Ava began working secretly, gathering evidence and building a case against Ryder and Bruno Medicals.
Back in her apartment, she picked up her laptop and began to check the highlights from the Bruno Medicals down to the production process. As she dug deeper, she discovered a web of corruption that went far beyond the drug company and Ryder's empire. She realized that she was in a race against time to reveal the truth before Ryder's goons silenced her for good. She had to leave the town for her safety. As she stood up to pack her bags, a case file popped up her screen, it was a case of murder. She scanned through it and was left speechless. Could it be that Bruno Medicals have silenced people who knew the truth before her?
Ava was uneasy as she packed a small bag. She had to get out of the city, as soon as possible. She grabbed her phone and dialed a number, her eyes scanning the room for any signs of danger.
"Hey, it's me," she whispered, her voice trembling. "I need your help. Can you come over to my place now?"
The voice on the other end was calm and reassuring. "I'll be there in ten."
Ava nodded, her eyes welling up with tears. She knew she could trust this person, her only friend in a world that seemed determined to destroy her.
She waited, her heart pounding in her chest. Finally, she heard a knock on the door. She opened it to find a tall, imposing figure, his eyes scanning the hallway before focusing on her.
"Let's go," he said, his voice low and urgent.
Ava followed him, her heart filled with gratitude. She knew she was in good hands. They drove through the night, the city giving way to rolling hills and dense forests.
Finally, they arrived at a small cabin, nestled in the heart of the woods. Ava's eyes widen
ed as she took in the peaceful surroundings.
