Kayden's car pulls up in front of my apartment. My eyes stare out the window, watching the entire building, which now looks like it just had a huge makeover. Well, a huge construction makeover. Kayden turns off the car's engine and we both alight from the car. Throughout the entire drive to my place, we said nothing to each other. The silence would have been choking, even for me, but thanks to Kayden's car radio, I did not feel the sting of the silence that much. He helps me carry my luggage bag, and being the foodie that I am, I decide to carry the packaged box of food. We ascend the stairs leading to my apartment. In silence. When we finally get to the door of my house, I bring out the door key from my purse. I slip the key into the keyhole and turn it, hearing the door click open.
