CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE Right now, I hated Longworth’s irritating smirk more than anything else in the world. But I had to admit that he had good reason to be smirking because he had me in a very good trap. Dizzy wasn’t my girlfriend, but I did consider her a friend and I didn’t like abandoning my friends to their deaths. Plus, even if I didn’t like Dizzy, I liked and respected Strike.
