CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN My super speed kicked in instinctively and Longworth and I rushed over to the side, narrowly avoiding the large fist that slammed into the floor where Longworth and I had been standing mere moments ago. We skidded to a stop against the railing and, without letting go for Longworth, I looked over to see just who had tried to crush us.
