Loving You

Episode 2

I am looking for my room when I bumped to someone makes me lost of balance before I hit the floor, he instantly grab my hands and pull me against him, my head is on his chest I can feel his heartbeat and I he smells good. His arms were wrapped in my body.

“You okay Miss?”, he said.

His voice is so manly My heat beats so fast, I forgot the we were in an awkward position. I push him away and pick up my things on the floor.

“Yeah, I’m fine. And thank you, and sorry”, I am stuttering while talking.

“Heh, are you blushing?”, he asked and smirk.

To my surprise, I look at him with my eyes wide open and I was covering my face. He was just smiling even his eyes were smiling. Everything feels like in slowmo as I’m staring at him.

“Hey, are you really okay? Do you want me to take you to the clinic or what?, he said.

“No, nothing! I’m fine… good”, the only words I can say because I feel embarrass. I walk on opposite direction. I can feel he’s laughing at me.

“Hey! That’s okay. By the way I’m Robin!”, he shout while I’m walking away.

Finally I found my room and I am just right on time before my professor came. Five minutes have passed when a familiar face went in. Every girls in the room were over-reacting like they’ve seen an actor. Our eyes met and he smiled, he’s going my way. And all the girls were looking at me with a straight face.

He sits beside me and move his face near mine. I can feel his breath on my cheeks that gives my goosebumps. He whispered softly into my ear.

“Its okaaaay”, he whispered.

“Will you please stop? I’m trying to listen to the lesson”, I replied.

“I can sense that you’re blushing again just like earlier”, he said. “I haven’t got your name”, he added. I glance to his direction and look at him.

“Will you stop annoying me if I tell you my name?”, I said.

“Maybe?”, he laugh softly.

“I am Angel, so will you go now so I can focus?”, I replied.

“I like you Angel and besides where else do I go? It is also my class”, Robin said. “If you want we can skip this class, I have a copy of his full lesson”, he added.

“Pfft!”, I was about to transfer a seat when he grab my arms.

“Sir Delfin! Excuse me, she’s not feeling well would you mind if I take her to the clinic?”, he shouted. “Let’s go Ms. Angel as part of student council its my duty to make sure every student here is in good condition.”, he said.

“But, S-sir?”, I said as I look our professor.

“Just go Ms. Ford your safety is what more important”, Mr. Delfin said as if he didn’t get what I wanted to say.

When we got outside. He burst into laugh until he cry of laughing. He can’t stop laughing  that I can’t understand what he’s saying.

“Are you happy now? Arrrrgh!”, I said and walk out of him.

“Hey, hey, wait. I just wanted to talk to you that’s why. If you did not avoid me I won’t do it”, he said.

“So it is my fault now?”, I answered irritated.

“Sorry”, he pulled me in and look straight in the eyes. I pushed him away from me immediately.

“Where you headed now?”, he asked.

“Its none of your business, will you stop following me?!”, I slightly raised my voice that led him to stop and I saw the shock in his face.

“What is going on in here?”, a familiar voice I heard from behind. Its Kyle the student council president.

“Uhm, Kyle its nothing we’re just playing around”, Robin said to Kyle.

“Playing during class hours?”, Kyle said with a serious tone. “Angel, to my office now, and you Robin stop playing around go back to your class”, he added.

Robin went back to the classroom. And I am following him going to his office. Why am I the only one who needs to get punish where in the first place it is Robin’s fault just because he’s also a member of student council he can get out of this easily? And me all I wanted is to study. I wanted to cry but I am holding it in. When we’re in the office. I stayed quiet waiting for what he will say.

“Please sit down”, he said. “First, I would like to apologize for what he did”, he added.

And even before I start to speak, I can’t hold any longer the emotions I am feeling. I started crying and I can’t stop my tears from falling.

“Hey, hey, why are you crying? You did nothing wrong”, he said trying to calm me down.

“I-I just wanted to study and listen to the lesson but he pulled me out of the class for no reason. And I can’t go back because of embarrassment. The girls were staring at me like I did commit a crime”, I said while crying and he just listens to me. He handed me his handkerchief to wipe my tears.

After how many minutes, I stopped from crying and feels better now.

“Are you all good now?”, Kyle asked.

“Yes”, I answered.

Somehow I feel relieve, I thought he will scold me for skipping a class and for shouting in one of the member of student council. But it is different to what I expect, he even apologize even if it is not him who wronged me. He handed me a glass of water.

“Here, drink this first, you cried a lot and it made your eyes swollen”, he said.

“Thank you Sir”, I replied.

“Don’t call me Sir just Kyle will do. With Robin, don’t worry I’ll talk to him to stay away from you and not disturb you.”, Kyle said nicely.

“I’ll go ahead, I have to go now in the Library and thank you I appreciate your concern”, I replied and slightly smiled.

“You may go home now, its okay if you’ll not render a time in the Library. I will excuse your for today just take your shift tomorrow always follow the schedule I gave you”, he said.

“T-thank you Kyle”, I replied

I am now walking outside going to the bus stop when a car stopped in front of me. He lowered his window and Robins shows up.

“Hey! I just wanted to say sorry for earlier. Bye!”, he said quick and short and drove away.

“Tsk! Still arrogant even if he apologize unlike Kyle”, I said.

I went to mall first to cool down my eyes so by the time I got home they looks normal again to keep them not worrying a thing from me. They’re the only reason why I’m keep going, I have to study and graduate and find a job that will give us a better life.
