FIRST-YEAR IN MEDICAL SCHOOL (past)

"I don't get this, gosh!" She smacked her head twice while her eyes are staring at the book she's reading.

A tall guy with messy black hair appears in front of her. "Hey, what's wrong?" He asked as he pulled a monobloc chair and sat in front of her.

"I'm dying here. I can't understand anything! Why is biochemistry so hard?!"

"It's not hard. You only refuse to learn. Yes, sure, you're studying, yet your mind is somewhere else." He said while he grabs his note from his backpack, "and, you're not highlighting or taking down notes... here, I'll let you borrow this, tomorrow's our exam for biochem." Joshua said with a smile as he offers his notes to the girl who first stole his heart.

Rose blinked her eyes while he takes his notebook, "How about you? Aren't you going to study? as you said, tomorrow's our exam."

He winks at her, "I can manage." He said and walked away. 

Jisoo does not have any idea that Rose will have a huge part in his life. Having her around, especially during his sorrowful days makes him calm and happy. However, she also became his worst weakness when he found out everything about her.
