Tape over webcam since forever. But last year it turned on anyway.

Zoom call. Feed lagged. Whisper in headphones: "Closer."

Restarted. Colleagues joked glitch.

Night: laptop open. Green light. Feed: room, silhouette behind chair.

Spun. Empty.

Recorded. Watched: silhouette steps. Face decayed version of mine.

Smashed laptop. New one—no cam.

Light on anyway. Feed: old room. Waving.

Emails from me: sleep videos. Whispers: "Inside already."

One: silhouette lips to ear. "Eyes shared soon."

Tried everything. Priest, tech wipes. No trace.

Now phone cam, TV, even reflection in kettle—face older, whispering.

Tape does nothing. It's looking out through me.

Check your light. Blinking?

3 a.m. Reddit scroll. Found r/Glitch_in_the_Matrix: "Bottomless Thread. Goes forever. Darker deeper. Don't reach end."

Clicked.

Funny glitches → sins → crimes with details → photos → names I recognized.

Hours. "You in gray hoodie. Door unlocked."

It was.

Predictions: "You'll keep scrolling."

Deeper: my secrets posted by "me."

Can't delete. New account → same thread.

Compulsion now. Refresh → darker. "You'll scream at 4:12."

It's 4:11.

If you see it... close tab.

You won't.
