Still Loving You (Broken Series 1)

Chapter 13

It’s almost six in the evening. I’m going to Nick’s house. I really want to talk to him, explain that I can’t cheat. That I’m not capable of hurting him that way. Even if it’s impossible for him to understand me, I still try everything. I won’t give up; I won’t walk away without doing everything I can.

When I arrived in front of their gate. The guard let me in immediately. Nick’s parents are not here at the moment. Her mom told that they will go out of the town for almost a week.

As I went inside the house, I ask the maid if I can talk to Nick. She says okay went upstairs to tell it to Nick.

After a minute Nick downstairs, he looks at me blankly with his cold stare like he had at the school. I can't see the man I love. His face is full of anger. He waived him, commanding to follow him so, I did.

"What do you want? Why are you here?" He bitterly asked. 

I'm trying to stop my tears to fall down.  "I want to explain everything----"

He cut me off.  " I don't want to hear your lies. I DON'T NEED YOUR USELESS EXPLANATION!" he shouted at me.  "Just get out of sight."

I shook my head and my eyes start to swell up. 

I kneeled down in front of him in desperation, secretly hoping that maybe he will give me a chance to explain. 

"Please babe let’s talk!" I pleadingly asked him while kneeling in front of him. 

"Get out, I don't want to see your face, I don't even want to look at you. You're a w***e, I can't believe that I'm loving a slut." He said pushing me away. 

I shook my head, I will never let to end everything this way.

 Even his words are piercing through my heart, I don't give a damn thing about it. All I want right now is for him to believe in me. To believe in our love for each other. That I will never hurt him that way. 

My lips are trembling but I still try to say everything I can say. "I love you so much nick. Please listen to me. I can't do that to you...." But nick still shook his head. "Please hear me out first. I can't do that to you, I will never cheat on you.." I said hoping he will listen to me.

He sarcastically laughed at me as if he's mocking me. "I don't want your lie. I will never fall to your words again. You can't fool me anymore... You know what, just do me a favor. Get your face out of my sight." he angrily said. he glared at me and turned back and spoke again. "I want you gone in my life." he said and walked away from me.

But I didn’t listen to what he said. I still follow him upstairs. I really desperate but I stuck when I saw Hannah inside Nick’s room. I turned around and run fast out of their house not minding my tears falling down from my eyes.

I felt my heart ripping apart thinking why Hannah’s there. I can’t believe that this is happening to me.

When I finally home, I was planning to go immediately to my room. But before I step my foot to the stair, someone pull her hair. It made me fall on the floor.

I look up to see who it is but I was gasped when I saw it was my mom. I can see the madness in her face.

“Mom?” I called her.

She didn’t answer. She pulled me up to face her and slap me hard. Before I can look at her, she slaps me again. I can see Nana Eva on the side wants to help me but before she can do it my mom stops her.

“Don’t help her!”

“But mam, you’re hurting your daughter. Please stop it!” Nana Eva says.

My mom scoffed. “Don’t tell me what to do. Remember I’m only paying you to take care of this whore.” She says pointing her finger at me.

I can’t believe that my mom would call me a w***e.

I bit my lip to suppressed my sob. I look at the couch near mom and saw my dad was looking at me blankly.  I want to tell him to help me but my mom holds my jaw tightly.

"You’re a useless child. How dare you that to us? You're a disgrace to us. We gave you everything and all you going to repay us by humiliating our name. I don't know if we can face our friends and business partners because of the scandalous thing you did.”

I look back at my dad. Asking for help. I feel hope when he stands up but to burned down when he slaps me too.

"Leave my house, we don’t need you here…” He looked at my mom. “I knew it wasn’t a good idea to adopt her. She’s good for nothing child. She will only be tainting my name, our family name. Look what happen now.” He said.

I’m shocked at what he said. I can’t think properly. I can’t speak. I look at my father, hoping that he’s only joking or maybe he only said it because he’s mad at me.

But unfortunately, he didn’t take it back. Instead, he repeats it.  

"My blood doesn’t run on your veins. Your biological parents give you to us. They abandon you... Our biggest mistake is when we accepted you to our home but I can still fix it now… " he took some cash from his wallet and give it to me. “I think this is enough. We already gave you too much. Now, leave my house.”

I can’t move even the money that he gave it to me fell from the floor. I really can’t think properly. It made my world crumbled.

But I was surprised when he pulled me out and pushes me out of the gate. “Go! Don’t ever show your face again here.” and he closes the gate.

I saw some people looking at me. I know they saw what happen.

I don’t know what to do now. Everything is gone now. First is Nick, second is my family and lastly my entire life.

I walk and walk going heading to nowhere. Thinking that everything can disappear from me in a single snap. I stop walking when I’m on a bridge.

I want to end up all the pain that I’m feeling right now. All I want is end everything.
