Still Loving You (Broken Series 1)

Chapter 8

I feel so happy from the moment I woke up because today is a special day. It’s our fourth month anniversary in a relationship. I was waiting for him in front of the main door of our house.

Almost every day, he’s always with me. Every weekdays, he’s fetching me here at my house so that we can go to school together and when if it’s weekends, he always takes me to their house or he’s going to visiting me here.

Ninang Jane was so happy when we told her about our relationship. I remember her saying 'it’s about time'. I thought there not going to approved about it but it’s the other way around. She told me that she is known for a long time that Nick and I like each other and she enjoys watching us secretly.

It brought me back to my senses when I hear a car engine.  I look immediately at the gate and I saw that nick’s car has arrived. I walk closer toward it and went inside the passenger seat.

"Good morning Babe, Happy 4th month anniversary! " he welcomes me and I was surprised when he kisses me on the lips.

I flushed. "Happy 4th month anniversary too babe." I said as I bow down my head because of shyness consuming my mind. "I love you." I whispered.

He chuckled. "Hey! We’re dating for four months now and yet you’re still shy in front of me.” He holds my chin and lifts it up. "Look at me." He said when I’m trying to look away.

I looked at him. "I love you Catherine Montemayor-Imperial." He said while smiling. I can feel the love he has for me as he spoke those words.

I bit my lip to stop my giggle. "Imperial?" I ask.

He smirks and nodded. "Yes. It will be your last name soon. I know it’s too soon to talk about that kind of thing but just humor me this time. I just want to imagine saying your name in that way while looking at you."

I became speechless, I don’t know what to answer. I can’t describe the feeling I have inside me while imagining myself having Nick’s last name in mine. I just sit there in silence and nick continue to drive while teasing me until we arrived in school.

When breaktime came, I went to the cafeteria with Gio. Nick can’t join me for lunch because he has a meeting together with his friends and basketball team members. Actually, the five of them are part of our school’s basketball team.

We were eating lunch together with our other friends, Hannah and Gwen. Both of them are popular at the whole campus, especially to boys. They were both represent our school as muses competing with another school. They were nice, especially Gwen. So, it’s not hard to be friends with them.

Gwen looks at me while smiling. "it’s a miracle that you can join us for lunch today Cath.” She said.

I smile at her too. "Yeah!"

Gio groaned. "It really is a miracle. Thankfully Nick is busy today." He teasingly looks at me. "You forget about me because of your hot boyfriend." He added.

I shook my head in disbelief. Gio really loves teasing me.

Gio continues teasing until Hannah interrupts him. Between Gwen and Hannah, I’m closer to Gwen than Hannah.

"Are you sure about Nick?" Hannah asks me.

It made me confused but I still immediately answer her. "Of course!”

She sarcastically laughs. "Just a warning. He’s a playboy and there’s a big possibility that he’s just toying you. Like what his friends do, changing girls every week sometimes every day. Don’t you feel afraid that he might do that to you?" she frankly says.

My forehead knotted. I don’t know Hannah saying all of this.  "I’ve known him since were still a child and he’s nothing like that. He’s nice and I can feel that his love for me is true." I defended nick.

"Stop it, Hannah!” Gio interrupt. "Let’s just be happy for them... I lot of us here knows that Nick is not like that, he doesn’t do that. And besides, not all of his friends are a playboy. Like Tristan and Nathaniel. They have never been in a rumor or gossip with other girls. I didn’t even hear a single gossip about them going out with someone." Gio defended.

Hannah smirked at gio. "How would you know? Are you with them 24/7? Look I don’t want to be negative in here but guys like him always do the fling things and he really loves why now? Why he didn’t court you before?" her voice suddenly raised.

I looked around and I saw few students looking at our direction.

I don’t want to doubt Nick. I know him for a long time and he’s too far for being like what Hannah talking about. "I know he loves me. I can feel it and I trust the man I love. Relationship is like that Hannah. It’s all about trust."

"Okay!  I’m just warning you and please don’t go running to me while crying because you didn’t listen to me.”  She rolled her eyes and stoop up pulling Gwen out of the cafeteria.

I watch them as they leave.

I look down but suddenly Gio holds my hand and smiled at me.

"Don’t listen to her. She’s just envious of you. Maybe she thinks that I didn’t know that she has a thing for your boyfriend. That b***h!" He laughs as he says it.

"I do believe in Nick, I believe that he loves me."

"He should! He doesn’t know how lucky he is to have you. A lot of boys around the school want to have you but you’re too blind to notice it because of your love to nick.”

We continue eating our lunch until our breaktime’s over and we went back to our classroom.

After school, Nick and I went to my house to get some clothes. Ninang Jane invited me to sleepover in their house. After I prepared everything, I need we go straight to their house. Ninang Jane was the one who asks permission to my parents and thankfully they gave me permission because I don’t have class tomorrow. Well, actually they always let me sleepover at Ninang’s place. Sometimes I felt that they don’t care about me.  

We ate dinner together with Nick’s family. After dinner, Nick took me their rooftop. They have a mini flower garden here and they have a cradle that two people can fit.

Nick lay with me there. I look at the sky while I’m using his arm as a pillow. I can feel him kissing me on my hair gently. I love this moment and I hope it will never end. His kisses start to move in my ear, I gasped when I felt his warm breath kissing me there. His kisses went down to cheek until he reached my lips. He's kissing me in a passionate way.

My hand automatically clings on his neck while answering his kisses. I stopped when I feel him touching my breast while he continues kissing my lips.

And suddenly he stopped and looked at me.

"I'm sorry! I went too far. I just can’t control myself." he frustratedly groaned.

I shook my head. "I know."

He heaved a deep sighed. "I want you but I know it’s too early. I'll wait when you’re ready." he whispered.

I bit my lip. "I’m ready." I unconsciously said.

He looked at me questionably, maybe he was surprised to what I just said. "You sure about this? There’s no turning back. I don’t if I can stop myself when you suddenly change your mind.”

My hands reach his cheek and gently caress it. “I’m sure nick! I’m ready.”

He groaned and kiss me again. After that, he gets up and help me to get out of the cradle too. We walk together going to his room. While we look at each other with a written on our faces.
