My eyes watched as my mate walked towards the main gate and then, he disappeared out of sight. I wanted to follow him, be with him, and never leave his side. But, our war was still on and until Theo was duly made leader of the pack, we had to be careful.
With a heavy heart, I returned to my room and locked myself in. Theo had given me a task and, as his soon-to-be Luna, it was part of my job to find allies. As I stood by the window, inhaling the fresh forest air, a realization dawned on my mind.
The last time I read Mother’s journal, she mentioned a realm meeting. If she dictated the event, perhaps I would gain some insight into who we had on our side. Rummaging around my closet, I pulled out the journal and continued reading where I had left off.
