Ilona My feet tried hard to keep up with the Gamma’s long strides into the forest. His grip on me didn’t waver through it all. Nothing stopped him, not my coughing fits nor my attempts to kick him. “Let me go!” I screamed, kicking him yet again. The Gamma scowled at me and kept pulling me deeper into the trees. We were almost hidden and he stopped for an instant to look around. Then, out of nowhere, a large branch of wood appeared from the corner of my eye.
