I let out a soft sigh as I entered a luxurious apartment located in the Gulf Coast area. It's only natural for a CEO like Eric to have an apartment here. The price must be astronomical. I plan to buy an apartment in about 2 years, but I won't be able to afford a unit here.
Last night, Eric called me just as I was about to go to sleep at 10:00 PM. He said that I had to wake him up at his apartment the next morning.
"I'm not feeling well tonight. Probably tired. I just got to the apartment. So, can you come here tomorrow morning? I'm afraid I'll wake up late again if there's no one to wake me up."
I scoffed. "If you're not feeling well, don't come to the office tomorrow. It's simple, why make it a hassle?"
"I have to come to the office because there's a lot I need to do."
