Dawn POV
I stretch out, trying to relax my aching muscles when I wake up
“Oh damn Marine, it feels like I was run over by a stampede” I groan sitting up. He perks up tilting his head to the side
“Yeah, you’re all bright eyed and bushy tailed” I say ruffling his ears, heading to the bathroom. I set the shower as hot as possible, standing there for longer than usual, trying to get my muscles to relax
“Grayson would’ve rubbed these knots out without any trouble” I say, pressing and kneading the knots in my neck
“He knew just how to get me to relax” I say to my blurry reflection
