“I know, just rip the band aid off right?” I say to Lou. My head is in my hands; her hand is rubbing my back
“Yes dear. There’s no easy way to say it” she says. I lean back resting my head on the back of the couch
“She’s going to flip. Hell I want to break something” I say
“No need for drama, it is what it is. Just be there for her” she says and I nod
“Yeah, I should’ve killed the punk” I say and she chuckles
“Yeah, well no use crying over spilt milk” she says and I nod
“So you guys tying the knot” I say trying to lift the mood
“Yup, took him forever” she says smiling
“I’m so happy for you, really I am” I say and she nods, still smiling
