Hazel's alarm on her bed side table goes off. We all shoot up in the bed with a racing heart. "Oh." I say breathing out as I realize it was just an alarm clock. "Holly s**t!" Kendra exclaims while putting her hands on her heart. "Sorry guys! I forgot to tell you I have an alarm clock." Hazel says getting out of bed and that's when I realize we didn't even put our pajamas on. Oh well. "That's alright." Jenna says getting up also. I don't feel like getting up yet, but yet I feel fully awake. I get out of the bed and so does everybody else. I grab my bag and head to the bathroom to change. Once I pull out my outfit that's when I realize what I choose out yesterday. Oh well! I put it on and walk out of the bathroom and go back to sit on the bed when I hear the door open. "Breakfast is done, girls!" A lady with green eyes and black hair says. "Okay, mom! We'll meet you in the dining room!" Hazel says, oh that's Hazel's mom. Hazel's mom leaves the room and Hazel turns to us and says. "You guys ready?" "I am." I say standing up. "Yep." Says the rest of them.
We follow Hazel to the dining room where there looks like there is a whole feast. "We'll leave you guys to eat, if you need anything we'll be in the living room." Says a man that I'm guessing is Hazel's dad. "Okay." Hazel says grabbing plates from some cabinets. "Have a seat!" Hazel says excitedly. The table has eight seats. Everybody sits down on one end of the table while Hazel grabs some silverware. I sit down at the other end of the table, I'm still not that comfortable with my new friends I'm surprised I even fell asleep. But Hazel sits next to me which surprises me, a lot that while everybody is grabbing some food I just am lost in thought. "Are you okay Leigh?" Hazel asks touching my arm bringing me out of my train of thought. "Oh, umm yeah." I say my cheeks heating up, as get some food. Everybody pretty much has the same thing. We all have eggs, hash browns, and some fruit. But Kendra and I have bacon also. While Zoey, Jenna, and Hazel have sausage.
"How are you all going to get to school?" Hazel's mom asks walking into the dining room. "I don't live to far from here I'm just going to walk there and get my car." Says Jenna. "I'm gonna get ride from Jenna." Says Kendra. "I'm just gonna get a ride with my friend next door, she goes to the same school as me." Zoey says shrugging her shoulders. "What about you?" Hazel's mom asks me, I must have been thinking again. I seem to do that a lot. "Oh, I'm probably just going to walk to the closest bus stop." I say shrugging my shoulders also. "I can give you a ride Leigh!" Says Hazel either excitedly and or surprised. "You don't have to." I say really wanting to go with her but I don't want to feel like I owe something. "I know, but I want to." She says whispering. "What did you say Hazel?" Her mom asks. "I said I know, but I want to." I can't help but smile, I really like her and spending time with her will be fun. "Okay." I say which makes Hazel smile. "Sorry for interrupting, I was just curious." Hazel's mom says walking out of the dining room. We chat for a bit while finishing our food. We get up from the table and we hear Hazel's mom say. "Girl's don't forget your school bags!" "We won't." Jenna and Zoey say at the same time which makes everybody laugh.
While heading out the door mine and Hazels hands bump into each other and my body tingles in response. Us girls group hug and then we part ways except for Hazel and I. "Well, you ready for to go?" Hazel says with a smile opening the passenger door for me. "I am, thank you!" I say getting in with a big smile, she really makes me happy. Even if I just met her yesterday, she has a part in my heart. "Your welcome!" She says before she closes the door. I watch as she walks around to the drivers side, she really is beautiful. She gets in and we buckle up as she starts the car. Backing out of the drive way Hazel asks. "Where is your stuff?" "When I got told I was getting transferred, the school said they would send my stuff to the other school." I say. "Oh, well that's good!" She says with a smile.
"Um, do you wanna play twenty question it's gonna take a while to get there." Hazel asks turning to look at me. "Sure, you go first. I'm not good at coming up with question." I say. "Okay, what...." Is all she can say before my phone starts to ring. I look down to see who it is, oh crap it's Victor. "Um, hello?" I say. "Oh thank gosh! Why the hell didn't you answer my texts?!" Victor says pissed off. "Sorry, I fell asleep." "Oh, sorry for yelling. This person who is it, I thought you had no friends." "What the hell that's so rude! Bye!" I say hanging up the phone. He calls again but I just hit the silencer. "Who's that?" Hazel asks confused. "Oh, that's my brother Victor." I say. "Why was he so rude?" "What do you mean?" "I heard his voice through your phone." "Oh, he was just worried about me. He doesn't know you." "Oh." Hazel says, then her eyes light up. "You wanna stop for ice cream after school with? I know a really good ice cream shop nearby!" She says. "Sure, I'd love to!" I say just as she turns into the parking lot for the all girl school.
