After putting on the outfit I look at myself in the mirror. I mean it's okay but I don't want a boyfriend. I don't know how long I was standing there but I hear my mom say. "Are you going with Leigh? Victor and Crystal waiting outside for you." "Oh, yeah mom I'm going." I say running down the stairs with my socks in hand. "Hear you go, Victor choose these for you." My dad says handing me a pair of black boots that have a heel on them. "Thanks!" I say putting my socks on and slipping the boots on. "Bye." I walk out the door and Crystal and Victor hop up from their seats. "Took you long enough." Victor says. "Whatever." I say walking to Crystal. "Lets go!" She says and Victor starts leading the way. As I look down at my watch, it says 5:57. "We three or less than three minutes left to get there!" Then Victor takes off into a run, so does Crystal and I. Victor turns into this random drive way, which has a mansion as a house. Standing by the gate entrance is a security guard. This is some high class party, I'm going to have to find a corner somewhere where I can be alone. Victor turns to Crystal and I and says. "When the security guard asks who you know say Andrew Lano, he's the one throwing this party and also one of my close friends. Leigh you should know him." "I only met him once though so I don't know him all to well." I say.     We passed through the gates without even saying anything, because Andrew Lano himself happened to be walking towards the gates to shut them. "So Leigh how have you been?" Andrew asks while walking over to me. "I've been good, you?" He puts his arm around my shoulder while answering. "I've been alright." We continue walking towards the house and Crystal sees some of her friends from school so she goes to go talk to them. Victor keeps eyeing Andrew who is making me feel uncomfortable with how close he is. Victor is contemplating leaving us to go find some of his other friends, or staying here with us to make sure Andrew doesn't do any funny business. "Hey, Victor. I'm okay, you can go." I say wanting Victor to have fun, not having to babysit his little sister. "Are you sure?" He says with a worried expression. "Yes." With that Victor turns around to go find some of his friends.      As entering the house Andrew lowers his hand to the small of my back. My heart drops, I've already turned this guy down and he still doesn't get the hint. The house is too loud with people talking and the music. I'm not feeling all to well now. Andrew leads me through the living room. Bodies bumping into mine and others. Andrew and I walk out the patio doors to go to the back yard. Surprisingly there's not many people back here. "Are you okay Leigh?" He asks backing away from me. "Huh? Oh, yeah I'm okay. Why do you ask?" "You look kind of sick." "Oh, well I'm okay." "Alright." Andrew says turning around grabbing two cups filled with something. I know its alcohol but not what kind of alcohol it is. "Here." He says offering me one. "No thanks, I'm not of age." I say not really wanting some anyways. "It's fine." He says still offering me it. "No thank you." "Fine." Andrew says putting his arm around my shoulder again. I wish he would stop that!      Andrew already smelt of alcohol and now he's having more, this is not good. While walking down the stairs to go walk around in the back yard, he's having troubles getting down the stairs. "Hang onto the railing!" I say when he stumbles and almost falls. "I'm fine Leigh." He says catching himself. On the last step Andrew steps wrong and falls to the ground. "Arg!" He grunts as he hits the ground. "Are you okay!" I say trying to help him up. "Yeah." He mumbles. He leans on me trying to get his balance. "Alright, lets walk." He says. I'm lost in thought until I feel myself against a fence. I turn to get away from the fence but Andrew has his arms on the fence right above my shoulders. With my back against the fence and Andrew uncomfortably close. I try to keep my cool. He leans in and that's when I move his arm. "Oh look, there are my friends!" I say making up an excuse up on the spot and pointing to a random group of girls that have been watching Andrew and I the whole time. "You should go find Victor, I'm going to go hang out with my friends." I say turning to Andrew. He looks either embarrassed or shocked, maybe just humiliated. "She really just swerved you dude!" Some random guy says walking up to Andrew.      I don't look back as soon as I start walking to the group of girls. I'm so out of my comfort zone at this party, now my nerves are jumping because talking to new people makes me very nervous and these people are girls and I think this is explainable. Once I get to the group of girls I go behind them and lean on the fence. I take a couple of deep breaths and then I dare to take look at them. "You okay?" One of them asks. I just nod my head yes, I'm exhausted. "What happened with Andrew?" One of the other ones ask. "He likes me, but I turned him town a couple of months ago, then I came to this party. When I arrived we hung out with my brother and sister. Then they left with some other friends, so I was with him by myself. We came to the back yard and he offered me a drink but I declined, we then walked around in the back yard for a little bit. Then I found myself against the fence and he tried to kiss me but I swerved him by 'accident' saying I found some friends from school because I didn't want him to kiss me." I say. "Why would you swerve him, he's like the hottest guy in this town!" A different girl says, there's five girls. "I don't like him." I say in a tone that says 'lets end this conversation'. A couple of minutes go by and then the girl that asked me if I was okay says. "You guys should all come to my house I'm throwing a slumber party! My name is Hazel by the way." "I don't know, I just met you today." All of us other girls say at the same time. "I know but all of you guys are pretty cool and you guys are the only ones that make me feel like I have actual friends." "I'll go, I'll just have to go call my parents." I say, not really wanting to go home. "Really!" One of the girls say surprised. "Yeah." I say shrugging my shoulders. "Okay I'll go, if this girl is I'll go. You got guts." One of the girls say. The rest of the others agree.
