The night felt especially thick with fog tonight. The kind of fog that sends shivers to the body. Christian drove through the thick forest, his hands tightened against the steering of the car as he wheeled it around. I sat beside him like a patient child, playing with the hem of my blouse. I could tell Christian was angry with what I was doing but I had no choice. It was a risk I had to take. With the confrontation I had with Danni the last time, it only shows that he's been sniffing around and probably getting the feeling that I too knew about Royce.
