Her body went up in flames. I was astonished and frightened all at the same time. She took off her ring and tossed it to me. "Get it engraved with one more name," she said with a small smile. I nodded and watched as she turned to ash. If I didn't know better, I would have cried right now. Seeing her die still hurt, still caused me pain. Venus picked up the ashes and brought them to the trinity spirit church. Everyone followed closely and kept a close eye on the ashes. We all knew too well what would happen if they were taken.
