Cendium

I woke with so much peace and comfort around me. I knew this small piece of bliss was going to be taken away from me sooner or later. Cloud and V were still asleep so I went over to my wardrobe and got dressed. I was ready for battle. I went back into the other room and saw Cloud and V getting dressed. Did they not care to be naked in front of each other? I mean their backs were to each other but still. I looked at their tone backs and ripped arms.

"Like what you see, sire," V teased.

"We must head out at once," I said completely ignoring V's remark. "Hurry." They both laughed and I headed out, blushing all the way to my ship. We headed to Noctis home planet. I knew somehow that Edmund would be here.

"Are you going to kill him?" Cloud asked.

"I don't know, I think he had his reasons to help Sec," I began to say. "I just want him to tell me and be honest for once."

"Keep your guard up," Cloud said. I nodded and we had made it to Cendium so we landed by a few hundred geysers. We walked off the ship and looked around the nearby area. I didn't sense anyone and there didn't seem to be any life as far as we could see. We looked around a little longer and suddenly I felt dizzy. I turned around and noticed Cloud and V weren't behind me anymore. I shouted and called out there names. I heard nothing back. I knew I felt someone's presence and I felt their eyes on me.

"Show yourself," I demanded. Slowly someone came out of the thick fog that was ahead of me.

"Edmund," I called out.

"Hello, Alexandria," he said softly. "I take it you figured it all out."

"Most of it, but I still don't know why and what you get out of it," I said.

"I thought that would have been the obvious part," he remarked.

"Stop with the bullshit, what do you want?" I asked him.

"I want what was taken from me," he said. "I want my wife back."

"Figures, this wasn't about revenge, you want me to bring your wife back," I said.

"I don't think you know or have the power to do such a think Alexandria but Sec does," he said. I began to laugh.

"You can't be that stupid," I shouted. "Your son killed your wife and I am sorry about that but you can't bring her back and you can't believe Sec would help you with no strings attached."

"I bring you to him and he gives me my wife," he explained. "It's that simple. My son was evil and he killed our entire planet. I just want my wife back."

"Sec is just using you, he won't keep his word," I said.

"I have no other choice, I will see this through," Edmund told me.

"Your a fool and so is he if you both think I won't stop you two," I told him. "You don't have a spirit anymore so I'll fight you without using mine." I suddenly took out my father's sword and swung it at Edmund. He dodged the first attack but then as I swung once more I cut him on his chest. He looked angry and for the first time, I saw darkness in his eyes. He took out a crossbow and shot at me. I blocked all of his attacks with my sword but he was just becoming faster with every attack. One-shot finally landed on my thigh. I let out a small cry and pulled the arrow out of my thigh.

"You should just give up," he said. "You are not like your father or even like your mother." I felt the anger build inside of me.

"You son of a b***h," I shouted. I let out a war cry and felt my body become covered in flames. I threw fireball after fireball at Edmund. He was blocking them at first but soon he was having a hard time keeping up with their speed.

"Kill him," I heard a voice whisper. "Kill him, NOW!"

"No, DON'T!" I heard Cloud shout.

"Alexandria," V called out. I felt my body become calm and my fire burned out.

"I knew you didn't have it in you," I heard Sec's voice in the distance but didn't see him.

"You bastard, show your self," Cloud shouted. The fog began to get thick and suddenly Edmund disappeared along with the voice. We heard some growls coming from both sides of us.

"CRAWLERS!" Cloud yelled. We got into a defensive stance and prepared to fight. Cloud and V used their fire spirit to burn the first three rows of crawlers. I used my air spirit to push back the rest that was running towards us. We had an opening and ran towards my ship. The crawlers were still running towards us. We locked the doors of the ship and tried to fly off. The crawlers jumped on to the ship and it was hard to take off. The ship began to take flight but was taken off balance by the crawlers still trying to take us down. We were beginning to lose altitude and were heading back down. It was starting to get rocky and I couldn't keep my own balance. Suddenly, the ship was knocked over and we crashed into the hard molten rock.

"Alexandria!" I heard V and Cloud call out to me. I hit my head on something and I couldn't really see anything very well. My body was stiff and I was in a bit of pain. The ship was on fire and I had a hard time moving. I kept hearing Cloud and V's voice but I didn't see them. My mind went blank and I heard a loud explosion. My body was lifted up by two strong arms. I was carried away and soon I passed out. The last thing I heard was the growls of crawlers and someone screaming.
