I’m back to hanging out with the guys. It’s a Friday night and we decide to do the normal which is hang out at Burger King parking lot and watch the cars go by. I’m already on my 8th beer for the night and have a buzz going on.
I see a blue car drive by, and I look up thinking it is Marah but then realize that it isn’t her. In fact, I let her leave to go to that school without even saying goodbye. I’ve made up my mind to move on without her in my life. It’s too complicated of a situation. I’m too young for all the drama.
Plus, I still can’t wrap my brain around the whole arranged marriage. That is some ancient s**t. Why does my life always have to be so complicated? Then again, if what Marah is saying is true, I understand her dilemma.
