Chapter 6

When Freya remembered her friend Apolla again, she started searching for the second time. But she was not inside the room no matter how she looked around. “Mr. Lessan, my friend Apolla was missing. We went here together but I am the only one who been here with you.” 

“So what do you want me to do then?” Lessan shook his head ang started picking everything on the wet floor that could still use, just like his alarm clock on the floor. It was to painful to see when many of his books was dampen and the rest of the pages are torn and scattered around. He was a bookworm that is why this scenario is really awful. “Argh! I can’t believe it. Can somebody explain me what’s happening? Am I still dreaming?” He had been pinching the back of his palm to wake himself if he was really dreaming but he only get pain and the redness of his skin. 

“Mr. Lessan, can you help me find her? She’s also a woman, she was at my height and had her jade color of hair.” 

“Jade color of a hair? Are you crazy? There is no human with that color of hair. If ever, probably not here in the Philippines or probably they just dyed their hair.” Lessan shook his head. This woman in front of him is definitely impossible. He still can’t believe a woman could appear in his room just like what happened now. “Please, God, if I am dreaming, can you wake me up now?” He sighed and stared to her again. She didn’t vanish. It means she is completely true. He touched her exposed shoulder. “Alright, I am not dreaming. You are true and insanely appeared inside my room from nowhere. What should I do now?”

“Give me clothes to wear and help me find my friend, Apolla.” Freya replied him with a smile.

“Ridiculous!” The only thing he mouthed. He had nothing to do now about this woman but accept the fact that he had to help her. Maybe there is a reason why she appeared in his room. “Fine, I will help you but you have to tell me what are enchant you used to appear here. ‘Cause definitely no one can do it. Also, you have to pay for everything you ruined here. You just ruined my entire room.”

“Paid? What is that? What does it mean?” Freya had no idea about the word he mentioned.

“Bayaran mo ‘ko.”

“B-bayaran mo ‘ko? What is that? I don’t even know what language is that. Are you speaking the language here in your world?” She repeated again.

“We have many languages here, freak—” Lessan rolled his eyes. “Tsk! Wait me here.” He got tired to explain her everything. So, he had decided to buy her new clothes instead. Before he went out of his room and leave her, he arranged the bed to let her sit on it. He left her there and locked the door so nobody would find out what had just happened inside his ruined room. His computer is the most expensive thing that ruined there. So, he had to buy a new one and renovate the entire room she ruined. Lessan went to the mall and buy her new clothes. He bought everything he saw would be fit perfect to her even though he was not good at measuring.

“Thanks.” He said and accepted his credit cards and also the paper bags he purchased. He bought too much from what she currently needed now. And he didn’t know what’s the answer. He had no idea where to bring her now or what to do about her. What happened today was so confusing and he had not convinced yet that everything was real. He’s just doing what he thinks right as of this moment.

He went back home after. His mom had left home already. Good thing since he should not be seen with a woman by his mom or else, he does not want what will happen next. One, his mom might think Freya was his girl or she might think that Freya is a paid girl. Well, that thought was really insane. But no matter how stupid that thought it freaked him out. “Freya?” He opened the door and searched for her, He forgot that the light of his room was ruined and he left Freya inside a dark room.

“I’m here.” She was standing in front of the window pane, watching a good view outside his room. “I didn’t know this world is beautiful, Lessan. Can you bring me out of this dark room? I wanted to see that light.” She pointed the sun outside. “In our world, there is no sun and this dark, it’s always day and everywhere you go, you can only see the same thing. Clouds, fogs, and many things that I can only see up the sky.”

Lessan frowned, he doesn’t understand her. “Here.” He tossed the paper bags on the bed. “Wear it. I also bought you an underwear and shoes.” He blushed when he mentioned the word underwear though there is nothing he should be blushed with. “Get dress.” He turned his back to her and faced his messy room. He took his phone out of his pocket and called someone to arrange and fix his completely destroyed room. It will cost too much for sure since he has to replace all the things inside for a new one including the bed that had broke one leg and also the headrest. He shook his head. This is insane! He had to wake himself up to this dream.

“Thank you Lessan but what is this small pieces of clothes?”
