Amelia’s POV
‘Amelia is three weeks pregnant.’ The doctor’s voice resounded in my head so many times that I lost count. I couldn’t believe my ears, I wanted to speak but I couldn’t.
I had no idea what to say or do but I knew for sure that I felt good, no, I felt something greater than good, I couldn’t explain.
My entire being felt weak, so weak that even my knees grew cold and weak. My legs trembled and my fingers froze, my heart stopped and my breathing stopped too.
I’m really pregnant?
It took a while and for what felt like hours, I could hear my name again and again and I wanted to respond but I couldn’t.
