Why did I have to see her? Why isn’t it Amelia who was waiting for me?
Liana's hand latched onto mine and I tried to no avail to get her hands off me. She looked excited to show me her surprise but I wasn’t as excited.
I hated how my night was going because it’s been thirty seconds and I haven’t seen the one person I’ve been hoping to see for a while now.
“What kind of surprise is this, Liana?” I asked as I stopped walking, her face fell but her eyes soon glinted with excitement almost immediately.
“Would it be a surprise if I told you what it is?” She asked and I raised an eyebrow, she had a point but the last thing I wanted was to see that point.
“It’s a surprise that you have to see for yourself and I honestly can’t wait for your reaction.” She added excitedly.
