It was later in the night and time for my friends and I to go and hang out. As I was getting ready, I heard footsteps outside my living room.
I got confused since I was the only one who lived here. "What the hell?” I just shrugged it off, closed my bedroom door since I was naked, and continued getting ready to party tonight.
After I was done with my makeup and all, I looked at myself in the mirror, admiring how I looked. I wore a short black see-through black dress with stripes that covered my boobs and ass and paired it with some six-inch silver-coloured spiral heels and a silver-coloured mini purse. I texted one of my friends who was to come pick me up that I was ready, and she said she was on her way. I couldn’t let myself drive because I knew I would get wasted. I sat on my king-sized bed playing games on my phone while waiting for her. She texted me that she was in front of my building after a little while, and I told her I was coming down. I unlocked my bedroom and walked out slowly, looking left and right, checking if I would see anyone, but I saw no one. "Maybe it was all just in my head,” I whispered as I left the apartment, closing my door. “Hey girl,” Nadia said once I entered the car. "Looking good, baby girl," she complimented me.
"Thanks boo, you look good too," I replied. She said thank you and drove us to the club.
“The life of the party is here!” I yelled once we finally made our way into the club. We cat-walked up to the table of our friends, my hips swaying sexily in tune with the music. Our friends complimented our outfits and looks, and we complimented theirs too as we sat down. "Emily, don't get too drunk because I know how you party," Nadia said, and I chuckled.
"I can't make any promises,” I replied.
We decided to go to another section of the club upstairs; the party was always more wild over there. There were a lot of people standing in line when we got there, but that wasn't something to worry about. Nadia said she knew the bouncer, so we just walked straight to the front and did her thing. She knew all the bouncers of every club because, whenever we went clubbing, she always served as our key to every restricted or crowded door. After a little while, Nadia finally convinced the bouncer to let us in, and our group walked through, not without getting complaints from those who had been standing in line for a long time. We got in and found a table that we could all sit around, so we moved towards it and sat down. Everyone had a date except Nadia and me. Seeing everyone with their boyfriends made me feel even more single and sad than I did on a daily basis, but I didn’t let it show.
I was out here living life freely, like the bad b***h that I am. I can't be sitting around here looking sad and all. The server brought our shots just when I started complaining of hunger.
After one shot, I was for sure drunk. I couldn't really handle alcohol that well.
"Emily is already drunk," Kim said as we moved to the dance floor, but I denied it.
"No, I just need food,” I stuttered. I tried to dance for a little bit, but then I started feeling woozy, so I dragged Kim from the dance floor while Nadia was grinding on some dude, and we sat down for a few minutes to let the alcohol pass a little. The dizziness passed after a little while, and I wanted to go back to the dance floor, but some guys came up to our table. I just remained sitting, ignoring everyone and everything.
"We need a little lap dance, y'all down?" A broke-looking guy with fake chains from their group said.
From the corner of my eye, I could see my friends looking at each other, and they agreed, but I just sighed, wanting to go home already. I felt someone sit next to me. I looked up to see a muscular, bald-headed black guy in a black suit, white shirt, black tie, and shades looking at me.
"Boss said if he sees you get near one of those guys, he is dead,” Mr. Buff said.
That got me confused. Who is he? Who is "Boss"? I looked over his shoulder to see three more guys—two Caucasian and one black man with feed-in braids—dressed like him, and I couldn't recognise them because the guy was wearing
“ what? boss? And I'm not really into things like that." I said, playing dumb because I was scared they wanted to kidnap me.
"I wouldn't risk anything,” he said.
“Are you threatening me?” I asked, “Look here, Mr. Buff and co.; I'm not scared of any and all of you." I yelled over the loud club music to make sure he got me clearly, even though he was sitting really close to me, but he didn’t even flinch.
I got up to get away from him and to do the exact opposite of what he said. Who does he think he is? Telling me what to do and not to do the f**k?
One of the guys from the Dusties crew from earlier was sitting alone, so I walked over to him. As I sat next to him, he said, "Hey, baby girl, give me a lap dance." I really didn’t want to, but I had a point to prove. I just felt confident and started dancing on the guy. As I looked back to where Mr. Buff was sitting, he wasn't there any more.
I did my thing as my hips swayed side to side, but I never touched him. He got up so we could dance to the music, and I let him until he started pulling me.
closer to him by my waist.
“You make me horny, baby girl. Let's get out of here,” he said.
"I'm not really in the condition either, and I don't want anything with you like that,” I replied while trying to get out of his hold. “Don't miss your chance, baby girl,” he said, and I swung my head back and laughed. I laughed so hard that I bent over and started slapping my knees. This motherfucker! Who the f**k does he think he is? The audacity!
He grabbed my waist again with one hand, and I felt his other hand grab my ass and go down slowly. I gave him a stern look, but he didn’t meet my eyes, so I tried getting him off me, but his grip was too tight. I started feeling anxious and getting very scared. I looked around, and I couldn’t see any of my friends, and everyone around us was too drunk to even notice my dilemma.
King’s pov
Seeing her with that guy made me green with envy and mad with rage. I sent my men to get him off her and take her to her apartment. I was done playing games and biding my time. It’s time for me to take what’s mine.
