prologue

I looked at him, trying to understand whats going behind those eyes. after all, aren't eyes supposed to be the window of your soul? does he even have soul? he's a living, breathing creature of course he has one! I berate myself.

maybe because he felt my stare, he looks at me with those piercing eyes. i don't know why but they always look so dead to me. Is everyone else right about him?

is he actually unable to have human feelings?

Am i really just naive to think he cares about me? Is my loyalty to him is just one sided?

I sigh and see a crease between his eyebrows. Huh! even he is trying to figure me out! i try to suppress the hysterical laugh that's trying to bubble out of me. no need to make him feel as confused as I am feeling. i give him a smile to show that i am fine and see his face relax again.

i don't know about others but he just gives me a pet like feeling. we humans fall in love with our pets so why cant i treat my dragon like its a normal pet like a cat and a dog!

yeah there's nothing wrong with me! he'll be just my pet!
