I enter my class and me and my partner sit in our table. i started my new college life this year. Its a rough ride getting  used to college life. After being sheltered for my whole life in human society, I am now out in the real world filled with magic and madness.

before my parents were born, there was only humans in this world. but it soon changed when there was a portal opening in the pacific ocean. it connected us with this another dimension. soon we found out it magic is real. people can turn into animals, and now its all pretty normal for us to see someone appear out of the blue, just the way our professor did just now.He has been present since when the portal opened and didnt aged a day.  there's a rumor saying he is one of the people who are responsible for the portal .

This class is compulsory for everyone . this class in name is both side learning about each other, but in reality is the way of learning humans. Every human has a partner assigned to them. Partners are supposed to be together all the time. and every month we have to give an assignment on what we are observing. except none of our partners ever do anything different. even having a fridge as a partner is better than having of of them. at least fridge can store food and doesn't stare at me all the time like i am a guinea pig, i thought scowling at my notebook.

The  professor smiled and started the class. he started talking about whats new with humans,their new achievement all thanks to magic. It all sounds like he is bragging. Everyone knows they are way powerful than humans and more importantly, they literally infiltrated all the sectors of our world. now almost nothing happens without their approval. The worse thing is we dont know what they want. they are almost controlling us now, but why they even opened  the portal is a mystery to all of us. the only thing we are thankful of is that till now they didnt attack us.

"Ms. Maysock, seeing as how you're not interested in our class. want to tell us about your assignment for this month?"
