Sakuto came home, her bag full and her arms fuller. She saw her brother's car and nodded. “Hopefully the door will be unlocked…” Sakuto said as she pushed open the door. “I’m home!” Sakuto called. There was no response but the tv was on in the living room. “Must be in the bathroom…” Sakuto said as she set the books down on the table and dropped her bag to the floor and then rotated her arms trying to stretch out her shoulders from all the books. The doorbell rang. Sakuto looked over at the door and then opened the door a crack. “Hello?” Sakuto asked, looking out of the door and seeing Kaoru. “Oh, Hideki-san, how are you?” Sakuto said with a smile as she opened the door wider. “Hi, is Tachin-san available? I wanted to check up on her and bring her a few other assignments we got today.” Kaoru said. “Oh, yeah, come in and I’ll grab her.” Sakuto said, stepping aside and letting Kaoru in. “Wait here.” Sakuto said. Kaoru nodded as Sakuto headed upstairs. She headed towards Mizu’s room and raised her hand to knock on the door but paused as she heard something on the other side. “I don’t need you to tell me to move on! That’s not helping at all! It’s like all you care about is your father! I hate you! Just go away!” Mizu’s yell came, it was obvious that she was crying. “I do care about you and Sakuto, Mizara! I’m just trying to help you! Would you stop yell-” Takuto started. “No! You don’t! You never did! You can’t help me! Don’t tell me what to do! I hate you Takuto!” Mizu yelled. “Mizara, you don’t mean that...Calm down, please, stop yelling!” Takuto pleaded. “Shut up!” Mizu screamed as a crash came from the other side of the door. Sakuto was frozen. “Stop! Mizu, Stop!” Takuto exclaimed. “You’re not my father! Don’t tell me what to do!” Mizu yelled as another crash was heard. That was it, Sakuto threw the door open to see Mizu backed into a corner, her eyes were swollen and tears still ran down her face, her hair was messy and her shirt was sliding off her shoulder. Takuto was opposite of Mizu, his hands up defensively. “Stop it, Mizara! Now!” Sakuto boomed, meeting Mizu’s crazed stare, her body having moved on it’s own to tackle Mizara to the ground, her arms were pinned and Sakuto was on top of Mizu. The wild look was still there, so were the tears, and Mizu was panting and shaking. “Stop this, now! This is not who you are! You are not mean and violent! You’re just scared and lonely!” Sakuto yelled. “No! You’re wrong! I’m not scared and lonely! You don’t know anything!” Mizu screamed. “Yes, you are! And that’s okay, Mizu! We all are! Calm down! I’m scared too, so is Takuto! Take a look at yourself Mizu!” Sakuto exclaimed. Mizu struggled a little before she went limp and the crazy look in her eyes disappeared and she was sobbing profusely. Mizu looked at Sakuto and then looked at Takuto who had fallen against the wall, she noticed something dripping to the floor and after focusing she realized it was blood. She scanned the area and found broken glass lying on the floor around Takuto, he was shaking and looked disoriented. Mizu’s eyes filled with fear and regret. “Oh...my...god...Takuto...I-I’m so sorry...I...I…” She sobbed before she gave into her tears. Takuto pushed himself up slowly and headed downstairs and saw Kaoru, his eyes wide. He looked down at his cut and then back at Kaoru. “You should probably come back another time…” Takuto said. “A-Are you okay?” Kaoru asked. “I’m fine. You can leave her assignments on the table.” Takuto said before he headed to the kitchen to clean his wound. Kaoru dropped some papers onto the table before slipping out. Takuto grimaced as the water stung his fresh cut. After he got the bleeding to stop he leaned on the sink and stared out the window. ‘I hate you!’ The words echoed through his head, the wound throbbing. His thoughts fell back to them as kids. She’d always been so attached to him, he was like her big brother and she would’ve done anything to protect her and Mizara. He remembered all the times that she ran to him when she fought with Kaido. He remembered all the times they laughed together and played together. His heart hurt. He grabbed another bottle of whiskey and took a swig straight out of the bottle. What was happening? Why was this happening? “Shh, Mizu...it’s okay…” Sakuto said after she’d gotten off of Mizu and hugged her close to her. “No, it’s not okay, not at all!” Mizu sobbed. “I hurt him, Sakuto! I hurt Takuto!” Mizu cried. “What am I gonna-” Mizu started before she felt herself get dizzy and fall against Sakuto. “Mizu? Oh my god! Mizara?!” Sakuto exclaimed, noticing how limp and quiet she’d gone. She shook her gently. “Mizu!” Sakuto said, panicking now. “Takuto!” Sakuto yelled. Takuto’s head shot up at the sound of his name. “Takuto! Come here!” Sakuto yelled. Takuto set the bottle down and rushed upstairs, his heart racing. “Takuto!” Sakuto yelled again. Takuto ran in to see Mizu hunched over against Sakuto. Sakuto moved her hand to pick Mizu up when Takuto noticed the color drain from her face and her eyes wide. “T-Takuto...blood...b-blood...Takuto, she’s bleeding…” Sakuto barely whispered as she pulled her hand out from underneath her, it was shaking and covered in blood. Takuto looked at Sakuto’s hand before looking at Mizu. “Shit...Okay, calm down, Saku, shh…” Takuto said quietly, trying to ease Sakuto’s mind. He slowly headed over to Sakuto and Mizu and eased the unconscious Mizu out of Sakuto’s shaky arms. “Takuto! She’s freaking bleeding! She’s internally bleeding!” Sakuto said as they got into Takuto’s car. “Take us to the hospital…” Takuto said. “What? You want me to drive?!” Sakuto exclaimed. “Just drive! She’s losing blood!”  Takuto said as he ripped his shirt off and searched frantically for the source of bleeding, her head on his lap in the back. Sakuto jumped at the urgency of his voice before she hopped in the driver’s seat and took off. Takuto was having a hard time finding the source of the bleeding, and it was worrying him more. When they got to the hospital, Takuto was carrying Mizara bridal style and covered in blood. Sakuto rushed in behind him. “We need a doctor, she’s bleeding, a lot and I can’t find the source!” Takuto exclaimed to the receptionist. “Um, sir, you will have to wait, just like-” The receptionist started. Takuto gritted his teeth and glared at her. “Don’t you dare tell me to wait when my little cousin is bleeding profusely, get me a f*****g docotor, now.” Takuto growled. The receptionist looked frightened before she pressed a button. Shortly after a doctor and several nurses rushed out to them with a gurney. “Lay her down,” One of the nurses said. Takuto shakily set her on the gurney. “What’s her name?” He asked. “Mizara Tachin,” Takuto said while walking with the nurse and doctor. “Age? Date of Birth?” The doctor asked. He wore a label that read Takaru.  “15 and July 23rd 1994.” Takuto said as he watched Takaru strap a breathing mask on Mizara and then had a nurse hook her up to an IV. “We’ll figure this out, we’ll let you know, until then, please wait in the waiting room.” Takaru said with a grim smile. Takuto and Sakuto shakily walked to the waiting room. They sat anxiously in the uncomfortable waiting room chairs. Several hours later, Takaru walked out to the waiting room and made his way to the twins. “What’s the news, doctor? Is she okay?” Takuto asked as he stood, Sakuto was gripping his arm anxiously. “There was internal bleeding but there was also a surface wound that appeared to be self-inflicted. It appeared as though she stopped before she could finish. I would recommend supervision. We have stopped the internal bleeding though, we weren’t able to identify the cause…” Takaru said. “Oh, thank god…” Takuto said as he stumbled and nearly fell. Sakuto reached to steady her twin and almost fell with him. “Sir, are you alright?” Takaru asked, concerned at the fresh wound on his arms. “Yeah, yeah...I’m fine…” Takuto said, shaking some. “Are you sure?” Takaru asked surveying the young man that stood before him. “Yeah, I’m sure, can we see Mizu?” Takuto said, looking towards Mizu’s room. “Yes, certainly.” Takaru said as he gestured behind him. Takuto and Sakuto quickly headed to Mizara’s room. Sakuto eyed Takuto wearily. How was he going to react to all this? He’d been so quiet and strong and steady. She wondered how much he actually hurt inside. Takuto stood by Mizu’s bedside, Sakuto beside him, her eyes switching from her twin to her cousin. “Oh Mizara…” Takuto said, sounding much older and tired. He fell into the chair beside Mizara’s bedside. Sakuto sat on the edge of Mizara’s bed. “I’m so sorry…” Takuto said. “It’s not your fault…” Sakuto said. Takuto shook his head, his eyes on Mizu. “You didn’t hear the whole conversation...I told her that it was time to move on...that she couldn’t dwell on the loss in our family…” Takuto said. “But, it is, we all need to move on…” Sakuto said quietly. “You don’t understand...she came to me and told me that she...she dreamt of Kaido and he told her something…” Takuto said. Sakuto glanced over at her brother. “That he was hiding something from her?” Sakuto asked. Takuto looked at Sakuto and nodded. Sakuto looked down. “Do you know what it was?” Sakuto asked. Takuto looked away and there was a silence that loomed between them. Sakuto looked down. “This is too much for her to deal with…” Takuto said. “It’s too much for all of us to deal with...everyone is dying...they’re dropping like-” “Flies? Yeah, I have a feeling that I’m next…” Mizu said weakly. Sakuto and Takuto jumped up. “Taku...I’m sorry, I never meant to hurt you...I just...I lost control...I couldn’t stop myself...how can you ever forgive me?” Mizu asked, tears running down her cheeks. “Mizu, don’t...I mean...it’s not your fault...this is a lot...of course I can forgive you...hurt makes us do terrible things…” Takuto said. Mizu sniffled before she got quiet and the look in her eyes changed. “Takuto...can you come here, please?” Mizu asked weakly. Takuto nodded and got closer to Mizu, Sakuto moved over to the window and stared out, her arms folded over her chest. Mizu held her hand out for Takuto to grab it. Takuto grabbed it and leaned into Mizu. “Taku…” Mizu said, but it sounded different than she normally did. It sent a chill up his spine. Mizu’s fingers ran gingerly over the cut she gave him. “That’s because of me, isn’t it?” Mizu asked, not looking at Takuto but at the cut. Takuto nodded. Mizu was silent again before her eyes flickered up at Takuto. “I should've finished the job…” Mizu growled. Takuto blinked, not sure if he heard her properly. “But I missed…” Mizu said as her finger paused on the wound and her eyes seemed to grow darker. Suddenly, images of Mizu rubbing his wounds and then tearing into the wounds like a vulture filled his head, he felt his heart race. There was a burning sensation that ran through his veins as the image disappeared and he just saw Mizu, staring at him, a dangerous look in her eyes. A scary smile graced her lips and Takuto pulled away from her, eyes wide. Mizu blinked and her eyes lightened and filled with tears again. “I’m tired…” Mizu mumbled, her eyes slowly closing. Sakuto felt her brother’s bodily reactions and turned to look at him. “Are you okay, Takuto?” Sakuto said as she walked over to him. Takuto blinked and nodded, his eyes not leaving Mizu. “What? What’s wrong?” Sakuto asked, looking at Mizu. “N-Nothing…” Takuto said, forcing a smile as his eyes shifted to his twin. “What’d she say?” Sakuto asked. “She apologized…” Takuto said before clearing his throat and sitting on a chair some distance away from Mizu. The doctor stepped in looking grim again. “Sir, may I have a word with you and Madam in the hall?” Dr. Takamaru asked. Takuto glanced at the doctor and then stood. “Yeah, sure...what’s wrong?” Takuto asked as he glanced at Sakuto and then Mizu, Sakuto had moved over to Mizu and was stroking her hair. Takuto felt uneasy leaving Sakuto alone with her. “I’ll be back.” Takuto said over his shoulder. Sakuto nodded. Takuto stepped out with the doctor. The doctor cleared his throat. “I just want to let you know, it is protocol to run a psychiatric evaluation on our new patients…” Takamaru said, his eyes on Takuto’s. Takuto put his hands on his hips listening. “Yeah? And?” Takuto pushed. The doctor broke his gaze from Takuto and shifted towards the file in front of him. “Ms. Tachin seems to be suffering from a mental disorder, we don’t know which specific one it is, it could be a number, but we do insist that she be hospitalized or under direct 24/7 supervision…” Dr. Takamaru said. “So...you’re saying she may be a danger to herself or others?” Takuto asked. The doctor nodded. “Yes, she did however score high on the depression scale, so we know that she has a severe case of depression…” The doctor continued looking over the files. Takuto nodded. “Yeah...she’s lost a lot of family…” Takuto said. “Either way, we recommend that she get psychiatric help.” The doctor said closing the file and looking at Takuto who nodded and stared at the ground.  “Sir, I think you all need to talk to someone, it sounds like you all are carrying a heavy burden…” The doctor said. Takuto looked up at the doctor and then away. “You’re probably right…” Takuto said with a sigh. “In the meantime, we recommend a stay here in the hospital for her, we want to monitor her and make sure she remains stable.” The doctor said. Takuto nodded. “Understood.” Takuto said. “Take care.” The doctor said before nodding and walking away. Takuto sighed and headed back inside. “Hey, what’s the news?” Sakuto asked quietly. “He says she needs supervision.” Takuto said with a sigh. Sakuto blinked. “What do you mean?” Sakuto asked. “He feels like she’s a danger to herself and others.” Takuto said. “What?” Sakuto asked. “Yeah…” “Well, when does she get released?” “They want to hold her overnight to make sure she stays stable.” Takuto said. “Okay, well, I’ll stay here with her, you run home and grab a shirt…” Sakuto said. Takuto glanced at her. “Sakuto...she’s mentally unwell…” Takuto said. Sakuto looked over at Mizu. “I know…” Sakuto said. “I would be surprised if she wasn’t.” Sakuto continued. “We all are…” Takuto looked at the floor. “I’ll run and grab clothes and food...let me know if anything changes, I’ll be back.” Takuto said before heading out.
