Chapter Five From my point of view I was suddenly both without a living and a feller, who for all his faults dipped in his pockets on a regular basis. I guess it was so easy to let things jog along. When s**t hits it doesn’t come in pre-packed doses. It can rain crap and that’s when some would do anything. I was close. Lil in cahoots with Ray, but I didn’t know it then, gave me my marching orders. It was when the money Ready gave me ran out. I went out trying to find Eddy in the hope he might help me. Of course he was nowhere to be found. On my return I found my bag packed. Yes, bag. One woven brown bag with my meagre belongings.
