Alessia’s POV The ride home was quiet, tense, like we were two loaded guns sitting in the backseat of a ticking time bomb. Leo hadn’t said a word since we left the hospital. His fingers tapped on his thigh like he was holding back the urge to explode, and I was holding my breath, knowing damn well the storm was coming.
