Leo's POV
I left Victor bleeding and broken in that boardroom, surrounded by board members who suddenly couldn't apologize fast enough. They scrambled over each other with their pathetic pleas for mercy, their promises of loyalty, their desperate attempts to save their own asses.
I didn't have time for that s**t.
My phone had buzzed mid-threat, and when I saw Pero's name flash across the screen, ice flooded my veins.
"Talk," I'd barked into the phone, already moving toward the exit.
"You need to get your mother out of that facility now." Pero's voice was tight with urgency. "Your father knows about it and I don't know how, but he knows she's alive. He's on his way there with a full team."
"f**k!" The word exploded out of me as I broke into a run. "How long do I have?"
