When I finally woke up, my entire body felt like a warzone that my muscles I didn't even know existed were screaming at me, and my brain was two seconds from short-circuiting.
The second my feet hit the floor, I was bolting toward the bathroom like the house was on fire. I couldn't be late for work — not again especially when my boss already had a suspicious twitch every time he looked at me lately. Probably because my performance had been less-than-stellar ever since Leo bulldozed his way into my life... and my bed.
