I faked a laugh in front of her. “That’s not funny. Don’t joke like that again, okay?” I warned her.
Her expression changed before she glared at me. “Fine, there’s no point in me staying here with you. I’m leaving.” She said, getting up from the table.
This scene feels familiar to me. I grabbed her hand to stop her before she could leave. “You’re not going anywhere.” I strictly told her and forced her to sit back on her chair. We are both starting to get a lot of attention there.
“What do you want from me?” she asked me back.
I smirked at her question, then leaned forward towards her, closing the space between us. “You want to know what I want?” she was taken aback for a while. It seemed like I still could affect her that much, and I liked it.
