LIORA’S POV The water had gone cold. I knew it had gone cold because I could feel it, the temperature sitting flat and still around me with none of the earlier warmth left in it. I knew I should get out. I had been knowing that for a while now. And yet I stayed where I was, my arms resting on the edges of the tub, my chin tipped down, looking at nothing in particular.
