Nora turned her head at the sound of footsteps and saw a figure moving in the shadows.
As the figure drew closer, she could see that it was a man.
He was tall and broad-shouldered, with long hair that fell in thick waves around his face.
Nora couldn't help but feel a sense of unease as he approached her.
"Who are you?" she asked, taking a step back.
"I am the guardian of the garden," the man replied in a deep, rumbling voice.
"And you, my dear, are trespassing."
Nora felt a chill run down her spine.
She had never heard of a guardian before, and the man's words filled her with a sense of foreboding.
She wondered what secrets the garden held and why the man was so intent on keeping them hidden.
"I didn't mean to trespass," Nora said, her voice shaking slightly.
"I was just exploring the woods and stumbled upon this place."
The man studied her for a moment, and Nora could feel his eyes piercing into her.
"You're not like the others," he said finally.
"Most people who stumble upon this garden are curious, just like you. But they're also foolish, and they don't realize the danger they're in."
Nora didn't know what to say.
She had never been good at dealing with confrontations, and she felt out of her depth with the man.
"What kind of danger?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
The man stepped closer, and Nora could feel the heat radiating off his body.
"This garden is full of secrets," he said, his voice low and menacing.
"And not everyone who enters comes out the same. There are powers at work here that you cannot imagine, and you would do well to stay away."
Nora felt a shiver run down her spine at the man's words.
She didn't know what kind of powers he was talking about, but she could sense that they were dangerous.
Still, she couldn't shake the feeling that there was something special about this place, something that called to her.
"I understand your concern," Nora said, trying to sound calm and rational.
"But I can't help feeling that there's something special about this place. Something that I need to discover."
The man studied her for a moment longer, and then he sighed.
"Very well," he said finally.
"But you must be careful. The garden can be a dangerous place, and there are secrets here that are better left undiscovered."
With that, he turned and disappeared back into the shadows, leaving Nora standing alone in the enchanted garden.
Nora felt a sense of relief wash over her as the man disappeared.
She knew that she had to be careful, but she also knew that she couldn't stay away.
There was something about this place that called to her, something that she couldn't resist.
