Chapter 1

Arianna's Point of View

My parents died when I was eleven, then I grow up with my Auntie Agnes. She's single, living alone 'til now.  Since then, I feel alone. Although Auntie Agnes never made me feel it, it's a feeling I don't understand.

Our house was attacked by a Killer who wanted to revenge on my parents. Luckily, I was in my friend's house when it happened. Since that day, my heart was full of anger. 

My dad is a prosecutor, who jailed big-time d**g suspect, killers, corrupt politician and etc. While my mom is a lawyer that already did the same as dad.

I grow up seeking for justice. I hurts me so much living in a luxurious life while my parents spirits were asking justice inside me. 

Other sees my life happy but honestly, it miserable. 

After I turned sixteen,I found an unknown school which looks interested. I asked professors from that school but they didn't even gave a single word.

Until one day, someone offered me to study on 

SPY ACADEMY.

This is where it all gonna start. I breath heavily to removed my nervous entering Spy Academy. Here, I'll be trained to be a future spy. The only risk that I'm gonna face is not seeing Auntie Agnes. She might feel loneliness without me, but luckily, were able to write messages through online.

We can use gadgets but our accounts were still managed by them. Messages, call logs, and all of my activities were trace by them.

Spy Academy is just like normal schools too. They have different subjects;

Accounting Class Computer Science Class Defense Class Shooting Class Psychology Class Hypnosis Class Reading Class Law Class

Every students need to attend these classes. If you wanna skip class, you can't. You can just skip class if you wanna QUIT.

Each day, you need to attend four classes. We only attend class for four days.

Here is my schedule for every week :

Monday and Tuesday

Accounting Class 7am to 9am Computer and Science Class 10am to 12pm Defense Class 1pm to 3pm Shooting Class 4pm to 6pm

Wednesday and Thursday

Psychology Class7am to 9am Hypnosis Class 10am to 12pm Reading Class1pm to 3pm Law Class4pm to 6pm

This is it! Standing in front of this huge building is such a huge opportunity! Because of exciteness, I didn't noticed that the bell already rang. I was running when I bumped into someone.

Feel a little bit tension between us. He smiled that made me feel iritated. Who'll think he's kind? The way he stand, and.....is he not gonna be on his class? What a jerk.

I tried to leave but when I as walking, he suddenly talked. "Uhmm, hi?" Does he think I would waste my time talking with someone who will just talk about crazy life, and skip class because of me.

"Sorry, I'm rushing." I still show respect and smiled back. He seems chillin' in the hallway. I wish he won't be caught by professors.

I already reached our classroom. Two seats were empty in the front and I see Mr. Edgar that looks like he's about to talk. "Sorry, I'm lat......" I didn't continue my sentence when someone talked behind me. "Sorry, we're late." When I turned around my head, it's him!

"If your gonna be on a mission with that slow body of yours, you're dead." Mr. Edgar seems disappointed about us. "Base on my belief, we will be alive." He really a crazy man. Why would he answer a professor in that way. Does he wanted to leave this academy. "And how can you be sure?" Mr. Edgar smirked and looks like he wanted to fight against a NEW STUDENT. 

"This class isn't not our mission yet, right?" Hell, I just wanted to attend this class peacefully but why now? And why in front of me.

"I liked how you maintain calm with a tense situation." Mr. Chavez smiled and come more near to us. The whole class were watching too. "Tense situation? I didn't even feel it on my nerves." This man smirked and if I were Mr. Chavez, I'm already annoyed.

Mr. Chavez didn't let the conversation longer and he just let us seat peacefully. 

Accounting Class starts. I can't avoid to look with this mysterious man. 

Class Dismissed! My favorite word. I didn't notice that 'mysterious man' waited for me. I stayed a little longer in class since I needed to keep my notes. Wait what? Wearing a different clothes?! 

By the way, another thing here is we can wear anything. But now, I wanted to wear uniform. It's more casual since I'm in the school.

"Oh, what takes you long?" He asked me while staring at me. Acting like a boyfriend of mine, tsk. "Please don't act that we're........" he stopped me from talking and grabbed my bag."Follow me." I don't even know but I have no choice since he bring my bag with him. "Where are we goin......." He didn't even let me continue my words when he answered me "Shhh." 

I noticed that he was holding a black jacket or blazzer, not sure. We went into an elevator. I keep an eye to him. He might kill me or what. "I'm Ethan. I'm sure you're thinking bad at me now." Maybe he reads my mind saying bad words against him.

"I'm........." I was about to tell him my name when the elevator opened. "Common." He said. Are we on school rooftop? "I-it's B-beautiful." I can't stop myself in talking on how beautiful the view was!

"W-why did you bring me here?" I asked him because of curiousity. "I see you writing in your notes 'justice will be served' with a photo of a couple. I'm not stalking you. I just see it unintentionally." 

I laughed while tearing. "Don't mind. It's fine, by the way, I'm Arianna. Call Ria for short." I don't know how and why I was encourage to be friend with someone. The bell rang and we rushed to go downstairs. He gave me my bag and we entered Computer and Science Class, early this time.

He sitted beside me and this time, he caught girls attention. Can't believe that they entered this Academy. While the girls were talking with him, he was simply looking at me. To check if I'm jealous? Tsk.

Mr. Lloyd entered the classroom that force the girls back in their seats. They're annoying. Acting cute with a high confidence level is such a nothing more than a trash. Wait, why I am mad at them?! No, Arianna. You're not jealous.

Mr. Lloyd started talking. Hacking is the topic for today and it sounds so interesting. My attention was all given to the topic. I didn't notice that Ethan put a note in my table without me noticing. "Good in focusing hahaha. Does Hacking sounds interesting?" He also put lots of smiley faces.

I looked at him and Mr. Lloyd notice it. "Ms. Kennedy?" But because of the eye contact we had, I didn't hear him. I just noticed that my classmates were staring at me. "S-sir?" I nervously answered him.

"Do you think you can be a good spy? Your focused with Mr. Benedict that keeps you deaf when I called you." I heared my classmates whispering their laugh. A girl stand up and said "Maybe she likes Ethan!" That girl.....she's one with Ethan's fangirl.

"How could you say so?" Ethan answered her. "The way she stared at you when we gathered around you, she must be jealous." She's so annoying! "I'm the one who want to distract her."

The class went silent and Ethan continued. "I called her that makes her pay attention on me, I apologized for class interuption." Mr. Lloyd continue the discussion while me and Ethan both seated. I see that girl being angry at me.

The way Ethan lied to cover me, amazing! Although I felt guilt 'cause he became involve, I really felt happy because of it.

After the class ends, Ethan told me to go first in the canteen and he'll follow. I wonder if he's gonna be doing something so I let him. In the canteen, I seat on the corner with two seats. One for me and one for Ethan.

A girl seat in my front, the annoying crazy. "Hi! Waiting for someone?" She's with her two crazy assistant. I see in her eyes that she wanted to annoy me. It's ANNOYING TIME.

"Yes." I smiled. "Who?" She smirked and I answered "My...........". Why did my mouth went off?"My, what?" She's starting to annoy me. "My..........B-bestfriend!" She smirked after hearing it. She suddenly stand up and look behind me like there's someone. I looked back and see Ethan. Did he heard my word? He may think I'm too assuming!

Ethan was standing with a drink. He looks cool that keeps her fangirl day-dreaming!

"I heard it all." I was about to talked when he already answered my word.

I'm afraid he might think that I'm too assuming to be his bestfriend on the first day we met. I keep quiet and let him talked. Correction, he shouted.

"Leave!" His voice gathered people's attention in the canteen or let's say café because of their food and environment quality. "Leave, what? You're asking me to leave?! In my life, their's no one turned me off." The girl shouted. Maybe because of her money and fame. I see her i********: account with more than 10 thousand followers. How can she be a spy if people know her?

"Well, I'm the first person to turned you off. No one from you, will ever come closer to Ria!" He shouted again and this time the girl walked out leaving her words; "I'll make you realized you're wrong. I'll take you back." 

Ethan doesn't looked threaten. After that, he comes closer to me. He smiled just like nothing happened, weird. "Hi!" His so.........charming. I can't ignore that I was attracted with his personality. "Hello! By the way, sorry if I assume too much about us." I sincerely apologize to him. "So, don't you think we're bestfriend now?" I saw disappointment in his face. "I-I mean........." He stand up and leaved me alone. I chased him and when we were already outside the café, I hold his arm.

"You've misunderstand it." I was forcing myself not to cry. This is why I hate having friend, I don't want to feel this burning eyes again. "Misunderstand? Yes. I misunderstood that I'm your friend." I know what he feels. He's not hurted because I didn't call him my 'bestfriend'. His hurtened because I made him feel my friend then would deny it later on. In short, it's like being a 'liar'.

"No, you're wrong." I didn't stopped my tears when it dropped. When he heard my voice shaking, he turned his body facing me. "It all came from your mouth." He's avoiding eye contact with me. 

I didn't stop him when he leave. Also, I can't do anything. He's totally disappointed in me.
