“Are you sure about that?” Archer probed more firmly.
Edith raised her head and nodded. “Yes, I'm sure.”
Archer began to think, that if his parents had been mentally unwell for some time, it meant that they could have helped with the embezzlement committed by his father.
“The allegations of embezzlement date back to when? Doesn't the company do an audit every year?” As he remembered when he learned about the company with his father, they always routinely conducted audits towards the end of the year.
