When Sheila got back to her room, she threw herself on the bed and groaned loudly into her pillow. She hated how nervous she felt around him now. She needed space. And the space had to be more than the one in this house. She wanted to go somewhere far, somewhere very far away from him. Maybe that would help clear the cobwebs away. Grabbing her phone, she scrolled down her contact list and quickly texted Mara. "Hey, are you free today?" A minute later, Mara replied. "I've been lazy as hell, but yeah, what's up?" Let's hang out.
