A thick sigh filtered out of Mira's throat as she stopped in front of a grocery store. She alighted from the car then paid off the cab driver. As she bolted inside, her nose flared and her brows furrowed as she saw the store's door locked. She huffed, glancing at her wrist-watch. It wasn't yet time for those store owners to close for the day, so what could have prompted them into doing that today? Today of all days she decided to pick something from the grocery store? She stomped her foot then turned to leave when a car drove roughly past her. A gasp as she stepped back, almost cussing at the driver for his careless driving.
