She quickly turned her phone away, still smiling to herself. The feeling of knowing that everyone was on their side was just incredibly satisfying and fulfilling. "Nothing. Just...things are turning out better than I thought." Arthur smirked faintly, but didn't press. He leaned back in his seat, closing his eyes before the faintest trace of a satisfied smile played on his lips. She was no longer the judgemental soul that pitied Madelyn back there at the party. That evening, after she had showered and changed into something soft and comfortable, she went straight to bed to rest , weighed down a bit by the events of the day, but just then her phone buzzed with a call. When she saw Mira's name, she knew she had to answer it. So she answered without hesitation. "Mira, how's it going?"
