Kat had been very up beat since meeting Ash and I was glad I was able to do something to help her but I couldn’t help my annoyed mood at having Chris back
I hated that I couldn’t send him away again, the way he looked at my mate angered me like nothing else
‘He’ll learn she’s ours soon enough’ Kai growled as we climbed into bed
‘Come here’ I pulled Kat into my arms and pressed my face into her hair as we curled up in bed later that night, I loved having her home with me again.
It was nice to know she was safe and that no one could get anything in my house to hurt her, once she'd left my office to go to her fathers I pulled out the orb Beau had snuck into my office so Kat wouldn't see it.
