I was completely unfocused without Kat, she'd been gone all afternoon, as per our stupid agreement, she would be spending the night with her family tonight, both Kai and myself hated this compromise and we hadn't stopped thinking about her since she'd left my office and headed to her fathers.
I kept checking in with her guards, I was terrified to get the message she'd been kidnapped again, why did she have to insist on staying at her fathers and why couldn't I go, I was technically family now.
