Katomi’s eyes gently closed and I lifted her into my arms, she was so light and my heart ached as I gently rocked her
‘How long will she be out?’
‘I only gave her a small dose’ Shay told me as she disposed of the needle in a sharps bin ‘So about two or three hours’
‘Very well’ I nodded and sat down in a chair with Kat still safely in my arms and pressed my face into her hair ‘Please leave, I don’t wish to be disturbed unless you have to check her vitals’
‘Yes Alpha’ She said and walked over to the door but I heard her hesitate and looked up
‘What is it?’
‘Your brother has asked for you’ She told me ‘He’s completely awake now’
‘I see’ I closed my eyes and took a deep breath of my girl’s scent to calm myself, I could have lost another brother because of those Fae bastards
