I rushed out of the house quickly and shifted, Kai wanted to take us back to our mate so I took control of his form and pushed us forward to the packhouse.
I’d never smelt anything as tempting as Kat this morning, surely her scent couldn’t get any better than that?
'Brae are you up?' I linked her
'Well if I wasn't I am now' She complained sleepily 'What's up?'
'I need you to come back to the pack' I told her 'Kat's heat is coming any day now, I want you back by this afternoon'
'I'll head back now' She agreed 'I'll link my team and get them ready'
'Good, thanks' I said ‘And Nate, did he get away?’
