Katomi had been sleeping most of the day while I sat beside her looking around her room or reading through some of her books on her nightstand, most of them were history books from her school, most about the war my father had started.
There was one book however that really caught my eye, Kat’s diary.
‘Why didn’t mate bring it to our house?’ Kai wondered as we looked at the book on her bedside table
‘Maybe it’s an old one’ I answered ‘Do you think she’d be mad if we took a little peak?’
‘Yes’ Kai laughed ‘And now I know why she left it here, she probably knew you’d invade her privacy’
