As we ran towards my cabin in the rain, Beau told me that he was linking with Brae about Kat because she was still in too much pain when the Fae attacked but by the time he'd arrived at the cabin Kat was gone so he sent the patrol guards and trackers after her.
Kai and I were both furious he’d sent men after her which only added to the pure hatred I had towards him right now but he mentioned the men were all mated so at least they wouldn’t try to hurt her
I tried to keep my temper down, I had to focus on finding my girls, by the time we reached the cabin there were healers attending to the guards while the dead Fae were being moved into the back of a van, but I had no need for their disgusting bodies
