I took her hand and led her to the couch.
“I think your father is into an illegal business with Andrew.”
“He won’t do that.” She says, when she looked into my eye she saw how serious I was.
“He is, I’m not sure what it is Calla but if he is working with him and we go into a war he would be considered as a threat.”
“You won’t kill him.”
“I don’t want to but f**k what if he assists him in attacking us.”
“Daddy won’t do anything to harm me.”

I wanted to tell her the truth after she asked but when I looked into her eyes I just couldn’t, she can’t know.
She is unable to handle the fact her father is working with a cruel man imagine how she will feel if he betrothed her to that cruel man and they are to be married in two months.
