Gwendoline drove her car towards the gate. She glanced at the building beside her house and scoffed. She decided to give the household living in that house, that is the Harrison, a scare and touched the button for the fire alarm. The loud blaring noise from the alarm woke the Harrisons up. Mr. and Mrs. Harrison rushed to their balcony and scoffed, realizing it was Gwen.
"So, she's back," Mrs. Harrison scoffed.
"Her car looks nice," Mr. Harrison commented.
"Are you saying her car is better than our son's?" Mrs. Harrison asked in disgust.
Mr. Harrison nodded, and Mrs. Harrison screamed, which startled Mr. Harrison.
"HA!!" She screamed in terror. "How can he do that to us? How dare he bring a car that's not better than Gwen's?!" Mrs. Harrison half-yelled as she stared at Kayson's car in the parking lot, her anger boiling.
"I'm sure her parents will bring her here to humiliate us," Mr. Harrison said.
"They will. They always do. I'll go speak with Kayson. He should wear his best tuxedo suit in front of her," Mrs. Harrison said and left.
She was back in a jiffy. "H-honey," she called, her voice shaky.
"What is it?"
Mr. Harrison turned to her.
"Kayson is nowhere."
"Huh? Did he go for his morning jog with Camden again?"
"I don't know, and if he did...AH!" Mrs. Harrison gasped.
"What?" Mr. Harrison asked.
"He'll come back drenched in his sweat."
"Then what do we do?"
"I have an idea."
Kayson walked into the house and furrowed his brows when he saw Gwen's car. "She's here," he scoffed.
"Kayson," he heard someone whisper his name and turned.
"Mom? What are you doing there?" Kayson's eyes widened as he watched his mother standing in the hallway, holding a tuxedo suit.
"Come here," she whispered. Kayson took a few steps towards her. "What's going on?" Mrs. Harrison sniffed into the air and hit Kayson on the shoulder.
"Ow! Mom?" Kayson pretended to be hurt.
"You went for your morning jog again. You smell like hell, and look at you. You don't look presentable."
"It's not my wedding, is it?"
"Don't joke around and change into this." She gave him the suit.
"Why?"
"Gwen is in the house."
Kayson rolled his eyes and changed inside the garage.
He walked out, and his mother sprayed his body with perfume.
They both walked confidently inside.
Gwen frowned when he walked in and her eyes widened when she realized the guy she hated all this years was the same guy she told "I like you" and gave her contact card to.
'When did he become so handsome? I couldn't recognize him,' Gwen thought.
"U-um, hi," she faked a smile.
"Kayson. Where were you? My daughter was waiting to see you. You were gone all morning," Mrs. Monroe faked a smile.
"I went for a jog, Mrs. Monroe," Kayson bowed slightly.
Gwen, who wanted to humiliate him, smirked. "You went for a jog? On a suit and body spray?" Gwen asked with raised brows.
Mrs. Monroe laughed. "Ah, my daughter. She has such sharp eyes because of her profession. You know doctors are really observant," Mrs. Monroe said.
"Anyone could have seen that, you don't have to make it obvious," Mrs. Harrison said with a fake laugh.
"My son has a lot of composure, and he had a lot to do at his office this morning. You know he's a prosecutor," Mrs. Harrison continued.
"I heard prosecutors are cheats and thieves. I hope our Kayson is not one of them," Mrs. Monroe said, that fake smile still on her face.
'If she says one more word, I'll use her to make breakfast for my family,' Mrs. Harrison thought.
Seeing his mother boiling, Kayson cleared his throat.
"I was coming from work today, and I...um...saw an ugly...um...I wasn't sure if it was a human or an animal..."
"Why are you telling us?" Gwen interrupted in disgust.
"I'm not done. So,...um...she gave me a card and said she liked me. And funny enough, she looks so much like our Gwen over there," Kayson pointed at Gwen, who was already boiling in rage.
"Oh, yeah. I got a card from her," Kayson brought the card out and stared at it. "Oh! It says Gwendoline Monroe. Wow! I'm just seeing this. Does that mean your daughter likes me, Mrs. Monroe? Would you be okay if we become in-laws?" Kayson asked.
Mrs Monroe was speechless and disappointed in her daughter.
"Turns out the ugly thing my son wasn't sure if it was human or not is your daughter, Gale." Mrs Harrison said to Mrs Monroe.
Mrs. Monroe rushed towards Mrs. Harrison like a roaring lion, grabbed her hair and dragged her down. Mrs. Harrison fought back, and the two women began to exchange blows.
Mr. Harrison tried to intervene, attempting to pull Mrs. Monroe away from his wife. However, Mrs. Monroe was too enraged, and she hit him with her elbow, sending him crashing to the ground. "Dad!" Kayson exclaimed, rushing to help his father up.
But before he could assist his father, he saw Mr. Monroe pulling his mother away from the fight. Kayson rushed to intervene, but before he could reach Mr. Monroe, Gwen grabbed his hair and dragged him back. Kayson tried to pull away, not wanting to hit Gwen because she was a female.
The fight was almost comical, with everyone dragging each other by the hair and stumbling around.
Kayson, still trying to maintain his gentlemanly composure, struggled to free himself from Gwen's grip without hurting her.
The fight between the two families was a spectacle to behold.
Mrs Monroe and Mrs Harrison were going at it, their hair tangled together and they pulled and tugged. Mrs Monroe's face was red with rage while Mrs Harrison's eyes were flashing with anger and determination.
"You're going to pay for what you said about my daughter?" Mrs Monroe shouted, her voice echoing through the wall of the living room.
Mrs Monroe's nails scratched across Mrs Harrison's cheeks, leaving a trail of red marks. Mrs Harrison retalia, grabbed Mrs Monroe's hair and yanking her head back
Meanwhile, Mr Monroe and Mr Harrison were having their own battle. They were trading punches. Mr Monroe's fist connected with Mr Harrison's jaw, sending him stumbling back. Mr Harrison retaliated, landing a solid blow to Mr Monroe's stomach.
In contrast, the fight between Gwen and Kayson was one-sided. Gwen had the upper hand, her fists flying as she pummelled Kayson. Kayson tried to defend himself but Gwen was too fast, too strong.
"Did you learn large or something?" Kayson asked.
"Don't car about that. Care about your face, dummy." Gwen said and landed a quick kick on his face.
Kayson stumbled and fell, his face brulses and battered.
Of course, he could fight. He was only suppressing himself because of her gender.
Kayson tried to regain his footing but Gwen was relentless. She grabbed his shirt, pulling him towards her as she delivered punches on his face.
The door swung open and Gianna stood there, mouth agape and eyes widened
She watched as Mrs Monroe shoes flew off her feet and she was hopping around on one foot while trying to punch her mother. Her father stumbled and fell to the ground and Mr Monroe jumped on top of him, trying to pin him down. And Kayson finally managed to free himself from Gwen's grip but not before she gave his hair a good yank.
Gwen was even more angry that he wasn't showing any signs of pain.
"STOP!" Gianna yelled and the fight died down.
The two families stood panting, their clothes disheveled, their hair messed. Mrs Monroe smoothed out her dress while Mrs Harrison adjusted her hair.
Mr Monroe and Mr Harrison glared at each other, still fuming from their battle.
Gwen and Kayson stood apart, their eyes locked Ina fierce stare.
"This isn't over." Gwen said, her voice low and menacing.
Kayson just smiled and nodded. "I'm counting on it."
(Preview of episode three: Meanwhile, Peyton and Calico joined in pulling Kayson's hair while Camden was distracted by Calico's beauty. He couldn't help but stare at her, his eyes wide with admiration.
His euphoric mood ended too soon as the beauty Calico pulled his hair, causing him to scream in pain.)
