Daisy I tossed and turned in bed, shunned by sleep no matter how much I tried. He kept entering my mind. Our fight two hours ago played on repeat in my head. I wondered where he was, where he went, what he was doing. Was he comfortable? Was he getting any sleep? "Damn it! I should be angry. Why should I care about him?" I sighed. I threw the comforter off my body and sat up, finally giving up on any prospect of sleep. I went to the door and opened it. I found Lou, my female closed-in security, sitting just outside, reading a book to stay awake. I smiled at her and she stood up. "It’s okay, Lou. I’m just going to the kitchen."
